The calm before the storm as r/manga and r/oshinoko put it. In here the ONE day off for Ruby before going back on tour. Everything is peaceful until things pick back up. The same happened with Love is War in chapter 240 where Kaguya was enjoying the calm of the dance with Miyuki before her family "called" her back. You could also tell that s is about go down since Aka and Mengo are on break again. They are planning the ending of this series right here.

Okay, here me out; since Aqua was heavily involved with catching Hikaru, that makes me think Ruby will be heavily involved in catching Nino. I think it would be a great way to give Ruby some spotlight in the final arc, as well as a good role reversal between Aqua and Ruby, with Ruby being the one behind the scenes this time.
I can maybe imagine Nino sabotaging Kana's graduation concert, which could kill Kana in the process. That would lead Ruby to maybe not trying to kill Nino, but get her put behind bars. I don't know why, but something tells me that Ruby won't be as hellbent as getting revenge for Kana as Ai and Goro, but I could be wrong though.
Maybe Ruby could also get help from other characters, maybe even some of the old B-Komachi members who can tell her what Nino was like, and if her obsessive behavior started before or after Ai joined. As for other side characters, I could maybe see the Crow Girl and Hikaru helping Ruby, but idk who else, so tell me in the replies.
Here's another question; would she want Aqua to get involved in her mission to catch Nino? It's 50/50. On one hand, I could see her maybe asking him for help. But on the other hand, I don't think she would want him to know what she's doing, to potentially avoid him worrying about her.

I do think this would be a good arc for Ruby if Aka was actually willing to kill Kana off. I think Aqua would involved either if Kana did die, but I see Hikaru or Aqua himself actually being the one to stop Nino. Especially Aqua, since he’d be able to save Kana to make up for not being able to save Ai.

It's the only way thay it can be written like this otherwise it would be a horrible ending. I have faith tho cuz Aka made Kaguya Sama, so he knows how to write a good love story. So killing off the only good love interest seems unlikely.
