S.H.Figuarts Dragon Ball Z Battle clothes Son Gohan was released on September 23rd as a premium bandai web exclusive and retails for 6000 yen or 60 USD, if you pre ordered him through the Premium Bandai US. Saiyan armor Gohan is the 4th figure in Wave 2 of Tamashii’s Namek/Frieza arc series of figures, including 4th form fieza, dodoria, Zarbon. With Saiyan armored Krillen to follow next month 2nd form frieza early next year and to round things off, a 3rd form frieza which was teased by Tamashii, via the official dragon ball website, just a few days ago. - Zábava
Those head swaps worked so well. Mullet haired gohan on saiyan armour body looked so good.
the fact they could do this but not Guldo still annoys me
I do hope we get a 3rd wave in the Namek Saga at some point in the future. The figures have been great from this wave
and if we did we could get cui lol

A third wave could include Nail, battle damaged Recoome, Vegeta, full power Frieza, Awakening Goku 2.0, Cui and maybe the ugly version of Zarbon? and this time they can include stone dragon balls lol

Yep, a head swap was the first thing I tried when this came in.
It's a bummer I could not put the happy face on the long hair head.
I ordered one from premium bandi USA and one from hobby genki. The USA one got here 1 day earlier than from hobby genki. I was super surprised!

I have to agree though: Great sculpt. Would love to see more happy expressions too. Merry Piccolo. Giggling Chi-Chi. Snickering Broly. Cackling Tien. Roaring Trunks. More happy faces for everyone.
A lot better aesthetically than the Piccolo gi version, some of the best faces overall from figuarts imo, decent articulation for his size outside of the legs could've been better imo, only wish he came with more accessories to warrant the price for being premium Bandai otherwise he's sadly a skip.

Really love the faces except the stern face still not used it but maybe in person it might change also wished he came with the long hair like in the future trunks saga.
I love the namek ark also it's my favorite out of the Z series
Not gonna lie I think you should be a little harder on tamashii when it comes to the quality of these figures since we know they can give us stuff like awakening goku, cooler, super buu and super hero gohan so why are we settling for anything less? Look how far the legs move outwards! Are you telling me tamashii couldn’t have done better? It’s stuff like that which to me is unacceptable
It's the room of spirit and time or the hyperbolic Time Chamber also when gohan was in the time chamber with goku his armor was basically the same as vegeta's Android Saga battle armor except he did not have a collar kind of like how Vegeta's older under suit for his Saiyan Armor looked like
Still don’t get why Tamashii doesn’t make the Saiyajin armor pads like Ikari Brolys armor for all characters in such attire. Wish this Gohan also came with a Masenko energy effect and some shading.

Man I can't wait to get this figure in hand, this is my favorite ark and I'm happy with all the releases so far. Can't wait for Vegeta, 100% Frezia and a 3.0 Awakening Goku. Than I'm complete.
This Gohan looks much better proportion-wise compared to the kid era Gohan. Though it's unlikely, I'm kind of hoping they go back and redo that kid era Gohan with better faces/proportions. Very nice review as always, stay safe and take care bro :)

My gripe that I can't let slide is the shoulder pads. The fact they don't line up with the chest armor just really bothers me when every other figure with saiyan/frieza armor does. It looks decent otherwise
They did such a great job on this Gohan. My only complaints really is the leg articulation isn't the best and that they are inconsistent with the faces and head sizes
from my view, i prefer to put battle suit Gohan's head on the kid era body and kid era head on battle suit body, since bigger head fit with bigger body 😄

I was originally going to pass cause i felt it was way too pricey for what it was but then hobby genki had them for a lower price and i got two! And am so glad i did. Its not a super spectacular figure imo but for what it is, i love it and its amazing.
Always gotta get 2 gohans anytime they release a figure of him, it’s a must lol

I got the bootleg of him lol. He's not bad. His leg kept falling off ND I tried the superglue hack and it messed it up so I kind of made it to where it's glued but moves slightly. Update they sent me gohan instead of armored krillen. I already have gahan. Wtf is wrong with them
Ill be skipping battle armor gohan and krillin. I love the prievous kid gohan and i feel the cell saga krillin is the best and only krillin ill ever probably ever need. They arent bad figures just to extra and im still perplexed why being so small they didnt release armor krillin and gohan as 2pack, the initial reveal implied that in my mind. I am however super hyped for 3rd form freeza but fear the teaser image showing it as smaller than 2nd form? I assumed hed be as tall as full power broly and chunky as innocent boo. While im more excited about freeza i am disapointed a new namek vegeta isnt in the cards, i love saiyan saga 2 .0 but shoulderpads or not a 3.0 namek vegeta wouldve been exquisite. Id go for 100% freeza or monster zarbon but Kami or king kai would be ideal over kiwi or nail. I know they arent fighters but they have more screen time and mr satan and bulma somehow get figures so why not kami?
I don't really like those face sculpts. Where's his nose? He looks like Krillin. They definitely did a way better job with the 1.0 Kid Gohan face sculpts. But that's just me.
For my copy the legs make that clicking sound, if I don’t use hobby oil will it break?
Does Kid Goku's head fit on that?

Got him about 4 days ago. I like the no chin face, I believe it was in the show but even if it wasn't it's unique.
