I thought Turles would be a tough one to beat for FOTY but 2nd form Frieza definitely edges him out. From all upcoming releases we know in 2023, it’s gonna be VERY hard to dethrone 2nd form Frieza for FOTY.
If you're talking strictly dbz figures, then no doubt this figure is easily number one. But if you're talking about figure of the year across the board, then I definitely think that Griffith figure is gonna be the one for me

I know I said i never cared for 2nd form Frieza, but this figure is making me fall in love with it quickly. Only wish you could pose the arms straight up without the shoulder pads getting in the way, and his leg spread was a bit wider, but other than that, the figure is great.🔥 Wish the price was a bit lower tho.
Came here straight from Instagram. Never really cared for 2nd form Freiza, 3rd form, and final form has always been my favorite Freiza forms, but I'm definitely picking up this figure because WOW this looks amazing. Wish they did the feet on 1st form Cell the same way they did here.

He looks fantastic and loving your new style of video, do wish his head is double ball peg and a slightly more deeper crunch in waist but damn is he an amazing figure, here's to a king cold, regular form cooler and maybe even a Black frieza to round out his forms, looking forward to your Vegeta and especially Trunks 2.0 Review!!!
This figure is an absolute masterpiece; quality joints, robust shoulder pads, perfect balance (even with the tail), excellent attention to detail, and the right colors; even the face looks as if drawn by Toriyama himself; it's been a long time coming (I blame Super for the lack of basic Namek/Androids figures) but finally, the BEAST is here: Frieza's 2nd Form, one of the ogres of DBZ (right up there with A13 and Broly); the best SH Figuarts of 2023. 11/10.

The way they did Frieza shoulders, is the way I've been saying they should do the Saiyan armor characters, cause even though Tulece was an improvement it's still kind of crappy
Shocked its been 2 years since 1st Form Frieza, time flies by. As expected 2nd form Frieza took the best influence from Cooler's release in aesthetics of body and faces, proportions, and articulation. Goood to see the shoulder pads don't effect the articulation (outside of arm directly up), butterfly joints are superb, double jointed knees and elbows surprisingly good for his size akin to Cooler. And optimal balljoint feet. Only wish the ab crunch was better and a beam accessory. Either way hyped for him and hope they go back to OG DB and do Demon King Piccolo (Old) considering we're getting all the Frieza and Cell forms.
I don’t have either figure, and this is probably a dumb question since I didn’t see it on your review, but the battle clothes Krillin can’t actually get impaled on Frieza’s horn, right? That would be such an awesome way to display them if it was possible 😭
Do you mean photos? I use photoshop for the intro and thumbnail and I use premiere pro to edit my videos. If you’d like to know specifics, please feel free to ask!
It looks great I can't wait to get mine. I think the extra cost went to the texturing across the body and the extra faces. Are you worried about 3rd forms scale?
I just got Cooler in hand and he is so much fun to pose around. This figure looks like it took everything from that figure and amplified it to perfection! The price tag is a bit steep, but for what seems a near-perfect figure, I think it will be well worth it... now I have to hunt one down, since I missed out on the pre-order 😭 Thanks, Eightysixed for convincing me to burn my wallet at the steak! 😂😅❤
@@chimichangatakeout3551 It has more articulation points than cooler, better neck articulation range, cooler does not have forearm articulation and has less shoulder range, I bought four coolers and returned every single one, every single copy has a flaw of the left hip causing a leg to perpetually wobble as if it's barely holding on and I bought them from Japan pre-order and US premium bandai and all had this issue. It is definitely not a better figure than this Frieza.

for some reason the Android/cell villains are scaled completely different. not only Cell, but 16 is notoriously undersized as well to where it looks goofy. really dumb since the Frieza force villains and the Buus are some of the best.
Man NGL it’s bothering me looking at burter is the same height as both recoome and frieza 2nd form, burter should still be the tallest plus I have all the namek figures sept for parunga he’s gonna be later on

I wish they would do the same shoulder armor engineering they used her for Saiyan armor - maybe for 3.0 figures. Looks great!

This 2nd form Freeza actually has worse articulation than the Final Form Cooler. Best bet would be waiting for a King Cold

This one cuz it’s a PB exclusive. First form you can get later on since it’s a regular release and still pretty readily available
