These videos are amazing. No fluff, no nonsense, just straight up info. Love it. Thanks for making these videos as a free resource.
Your SEC+ videos were of great help to me and assisted in my passing of the exam. Thank you so much! I still have so much to learn in IT and was so happy to see that you loaded this play list! I want my next cert to be A+!
you did SEC+ first and passed? Nice work! Most people recommend A+ first.
@@nicoletreichel11 it was a class offered by my employer and I wanted to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone. So I guess you can say I built the 2nd floor of a 2 story house before the foundation and 1st floor. 😆
Way cool! What a go getter. Most ppl do A first. Im a bit nervous bc i want to get to that point someday. How was it studying and taking the exam?
@@Honey-rp6zx I was cramming for a week straight and went to the test location early so I could study till the very last minute on my phone. Not gonna lie, was the most stressed I have been in a long time. Prof. Messer helped me understand the material, CompTIA practice tests helped me understand how they would ask the questions. I hope that helps.
@@sherryreed5806 that did help actually thanks
tried reading the e-book and it fillabusters dozens of pages that takes an hour to read and take notes while this video explains in 6 minutes. thank you professor!
I just got a comptia book that is almost 1500 pages. I've watched a few videos and glanced at the relevant section in there. I doubt I'll learn everything in that book, but the videos are an excellent introduction to the basic nitty gritty. I wonder if the videos are enough. The sample multiple choice questions on the comptia website were pretty easy or I'm a good guesser. (I did have to guess a few.) I got 7 and 8 out of, I think, 9 and 10.
so incredibly grateful for these videos. makes it super easy to take notes and follow along
Thank you for making these videos
I am learning now.
Thanks
I remember the mini b charged the first DS I had

@@pythaesfromtheonionpatch1640 I just don't get the joke, though - lol
Thank you, I also bought a book and some practice test beause I really want to understand this material not just to pass but to get a better job and pass my other certs from my University
Which book did you buy? Can you recommend one? I am also studying for my A+ certification
I remember when "tethering" your internet was free and unmetered
1:10 Shout out to all the people that had cellphones in the 90s and early 2000s. We had to buy a new micro B charger often. Talk about planned obsolescence 😂
No?
Mini B plug, is used for the photo and video camera that I have.
and for high-end calculators. an interesting remnant.
mp3s have it too
Question on 1.2/1.3
I'm studying material based on the 220-1101 Core 1 Exam Objectives. Under 1.2 "Compare and contrast the display components of mobile devices" one of the objectives is -Mobile Display Components-. In this context, are they referring to Laptops or Phones/Tablets in this context?
It's referring to Laptops and what you will find in a Laptop display (Webcam, Microphone, and backlight).
@@Supernova33427 thanks!!
@@Supernova33427 Somehow I doubt the webcam and mic are part of the display. I think the display is the sandwich that holds the liquid crystals and what have you such as OLED, or the old kind with the AC back light.
It seems like there is a wrong objective number given here. 1.3 is appropriate laptop features and the content of this video looks like 1.5 objective.
Make sure you have the right version of the Exam Objectives! The latest A+ exams are the 220-1101 and 220-1102.
