As a middle class Nicaraguan I can tell you that these are not the places that most people frequent when buying groceries and appliances 😅 I buy food at MaxiPali the cheapest supermarket, and cheeses and greens at the street market, also Facebook marketplace here is a really popular and a good alternative to look for appliances that are cheaper than sinsa and all busnisses have delivery and the option to pay with bank transactions. It was awesome to see you guys exploring these places and prices!
Hi jof410, thanks so much for watching and sharing your experience with us. You've confirmed what we suspected that that most people wouldn't use these places to shop. We certainly didn't when we were living in Nicaragua either, mucha plata! We also bought greens and cheese from street markets and street vendors.

The prices are not very low at the clothing store compared to where i live in America. The food is much cheaper though. Price Smart looks like a Costco, looks identical. Sinsa looks identical to Home Depot or Lowes. They got it very similar offerings in Managua.
Yes the prices were likely more expensive than the US at Galerias! Pretty surprising. Pricesmart is actually owned by Costco and yes Sinsa is very much like Home Depot.

[We~FeelFriends🐢] Great shopping mall tour in Managua, Hanging out at one of those mall would be good for spending a fun time Thank you my friend for sharing the nice video, Have a great Sunday and Stay in touch !!
Yeah, the prices of electronics are crazy there. For a 55 inch TV which would cost between 300-500 dollars in the U.S. were $500.00 or higher. I am looking to get my citizenship there before I bring electronics in from the US in order to avoid paying import taxes.
For what it is worth, we wouldn't shop at Galerias either, mucha plata! We were baffled by the presence of that centre, surely it wouldn't do much business as it is too expensive.
I appreciate you covering these locations that would be important for visitors that are used to these type of stores to see ... could you cover more of the coastal regions and what it might be like for an expat to move into those regions.... other than sjds im interested in seeing the atlantic coast ...is there infrastucture there?
Hi Salvador, thanks for the suggestion. There is certainly less infrastructure on the Atlantic coast and we are equivocating on venturing up there as it is a long bus ride. We will show Popoyo beach in a month or so, which is on the Pacific coast but further away than SJDS. It was a lot more secluded and quiet but less infrastructure than SJDS.
How those mall stores survive I will never know....I am sure the local people are not running in to buy $30.00 jeans....In America you can get an assortment of jeans for $12....I have a pair on right now I picked- up at a tractor supply store for $9.99...But those warehouse stores are bigger than here in America
Yeah, we are baffled by it too. Wow, bigger than in America? I'm sure it would surprise people to know that you can broadly get the same amenities in Nicaragua as you can in the US, if you have the money that is.
I love my country of Nicaragua very much but unfortunately with the socio political issues right now and the coming election in November of 2021, things don't look good at all. I would like to buy some property in Managua but I'm going to wait until after the election to see "el panorama de Nicaragua." My advise to everyone who wants to move to buy a property in Nicaragua is to wait to see what the near future would brings to this beautiful land. What do you guys think?
Hi J, we would always recommend for people to do their own due diligence when it comes to purchasing in Nicaragua. We also recommend for people thinking of buying in Nicaragua to first live here and make sure it is a good fit. All the best with your decision.

@@ejnava01 Yes ! I love the breakfast buffet at the Hyatt Place and, also we like staying at the Hotel Contempo and Hotel Nicte. Up the road on carretera Masaya. Greetings from Virginia USA.
Fantastic @@crowneplaza8899!
@@ejnava01 yes Nica. From Managua. But, I have lived in the US for thirty five years, still love my Nicaragua Bella.
[We~FeelFriends🐢] Great shopping mall tour in Managua, Hanging out at one of those mall would be good for spending a fun time
Thank you my friend for sharing the nice video, Have a great Sunday and Stay in touch !!
Thanks for watching and we hope you have a great Sunday too!😁
Yeah, the prices of electronics are crazy there. For a 55 inch TV which would cost between 300-500 dollars in the U.S. were $500.00 or higher. I am looking to get my citizenship there before I bring electronics in from the US in order to avoid paying import taxes.
Good video
Thanks for watching Naomi!
Go where Nicaraguan shops ,
I know it's not that place
For what it is worth, we wouldn't shop at Galerias either, mucha plata! We were baffled by the presence of that centre, surely it wouldn't do much business as it is too expensive.
Existen tianguis(tiendas publicas ambulantes) o pulgueros (flea market)?
Pricesmart is costco.
Hi Thao, yes you are correct! Thanks for watching.
Nicaragua is beautiful country ♥️🇳🇮
For sure!!😍😍
😅🎉
😀😀
Where the markets are that is not Nicaraguan
Thanks for watching, we visit markets here: czcams.com/video/Y8qhxSS2Ums/video.html
In Nicaragua we speak English criole
Hi Santos, do you mean in Caribe Norte and Sur? We would love to visit these areas if we have time.
Just do not visit Molino Cafe Galerias Santo Domingo and restaurants Don Bicha plaza Eclipse Managua. Staff problem. Unless you want to be robbed
Thanks for the heads up!
Now tell us
How much money does a Nicaraguan makes in one week.
Wearing masks outdoors? 😂👎🏻
Hi Bryan, thanks for watching. We find the masks useful for protecting from that hot Nicaraguan sun. Plenty of utlity there! 😉
Many crimes there..
Hi E-man, what crimes are you referring to? Nicaragua is one of the safest countries in Central America to live in.
You are crazy. Your envy is so obvious
Nicaraguan many crimes and gangs
