Hogg Mine - Tips and Techniques for Surface Collecting at the Hogg

I discuss tips for finding beryl, rose quartz, and tourmaline at the Hogg. I have tips on surface collecting. Two tips I forgot, always carry drinking water in your bucket. Tip two is always carry a plastic, screw top bottle like one that mega-vitamins come in. You will knock your bucket over eventually. The screw top bottle protects your 'Good' stuff. Put anything you find in your bottle when you find it.
Sorry about the microphone muff (aka dead cat) in the frame. I had my shotgun mic on the camera that I use for sports video and the new one is too fluffy.

Awesome video - would love to visit one day. We have a very similar locale in Ontario, Canada (near Quadeville) called the Beryl pit. Very similar specimens.
