PA Opening Day Trout Fishing 2024! (GOLDEN RAINBOW)

The 2024 opening day of trout season is finally here in Pennsylvania! I fished a new creek and lucked out with a spot to myself and tons of ferocious trout! Later in the day I tried my hand at catching the iconic golden rainbow trout/palomino trout! Hope you enjoy :)

It was way too windy and cold plus the night before it rained and the creek was up so high plus muddy.

You got that golden trout pretty easily so great job. Here in the west coast, we call them Lightning Trout and they are notorious for being difficult to catch.
