I just searched youtube for "how to use live scope to catch catfish" and there was about 20 videos about how to use it specifically for catfish. Man, if you got really good at live scoping, you would absolutely slay. You are already one of the best youtubers for catfishing, cant wait to see how you progres over the next few years.

Of course you go to Chickamauga after my road trip adventure! Caught one decent Flathead and my New PB blue catfish. Caught them in front of a creek mouth on live crappie. Will be returning to fish Nickajack in a week but hope to see you out there!

I wanted to reach out to you and say thank you for all of your videos and how helpful they have been at teaching people like myself how to fish for catfish and carp.
I've since moved to the PNW and they have some different techniques that I thought could be good for catfish.
Mikes Magic thread is something I think could help a lot with keeping small shad/bait on the hook.
If you look up how to rig bait for sturgeon, they use a whole Herring/shad but they do half hitches with the braid leader line and then use the Magic thread to make it extra secure.
Also, I would be interested in seeing if catfish like the pickled herring/shad that sturgeon seem to love here.
I can send you a jar or you can make it at home yourself by soaking the bait in white vinegar or Italian salad dressing types of marinades.
I always hate getting my bait stripped off, so maybe this could help you out. Let me know your thoughts! Keep up the good work!

I liked the kayak but the motor left a lot to be desired. I had two malfunctions with it in the first year that had to be warrantied. It was also too slow for my needs.

I know I’m asking a lot of questions. Got a topo map with a sharp point that starts at 20’ and goes all the way down to 150’ with pre spawn here in AR are you going all the way to the bottom of that to suspend fish or are you going to hang around shallower in the middle of the point somewhere?

Thanks for buying the rods! Hope you enjoy them. I haven’t had any issues with the reels. The bait clicker isn’t as loud as some other models so that may be an issue if you plan to use that feature.
