The drone footage from BillJnr was lovely 👌, what a beautiful country we live in 😊. Bad news about the construction plans, methinks we are in for a few years of these sort of decisions being made, in light of the 'empty coffers' discoveries 😡. Loved the then and nows and hearing your memories, always so interesting 👍. Ttfn.
Aha drone...s. My son brought up a cheapie drone while on his holiday. Up it went.... Up up up then sort of started fading sideways across our croft... Not out to sea.... I asked him if he was still in control 😂... Eventually we both realised he was not. 😂.... We searched the croft for about two hours, then eventually we found it just sitting on some heather.... 😂 We did not seem to fly it after that. 😂 Still that's what you get for £35. 😂

Some nice old photos of the Fair and some of the old rides. Today you’d feel peeved at finding 50p, back then it was treasure. Another project cancelled and no resolution with the Hospital, hope something is sorted soon ! Enjoy the sunshine

Great video Bill, your lads a chip off the old block with the drone, the then and now of the crane being recovered from the beach I only saw it the other day somewhere? I guess its a RB (Ruston Bucyrus) or Priestman! whenever I see a jet ski I always picture Del Boy from Only fools and horses🤣🤣🤣🤣I love Fair trucks dont no why?

Am I imaging this memory about the Brunswick Press building. They had a Santa clause Red Sleigh stored in the top window above the entrance? Or was it in another building?

I wonder what became of whitelegg fairs. Anderton and rowlands are a big local one now. Does the fair still come to teignmouth bill. We get a smaller one in paignton the bulk stays on torquay seafront
Yes, Anderton & Rowlands usually comes in the Summer, but it was also when Carnival was on - As we have no carnival this year, I'm not sure... They would usually be here by now...
