Nick has definitely grown up on the airwaves. I think Jacque Vaughn is either a college coach or an NBA front office type (GM, consultant, or the like).

Not only is he not a winning basketball player in the Nets but he generally just isn't. The only time we saw him win with the team at a high level was when he had LeBron James at his prime playing alongside him or when played behind KD and Harden. Those were the only times he looked to be in place to win at a high level. He forced his way to a Celtics team that had the best young core in the league and we saw what that core has turned into and that Celtics team did better without him. Since they drafted Tatum and Kyrie went there, in a 5 year span, Kyrie played for the Celtics in the playoffs once out of 2 years. They not only did better the year when he wasn't in the playoffs and in the roster but they have done better when he left in free agency. The Celtics have made the Conference Finals 3 times in the last 5 years. None were with Kyrie but all were with this young core consisting of Tatum and Brown, add Smart too into that mix and both Robert Williams and Grant Williams was there for 2 of them. Kyrie does not impact a team towards winning at the highest level.
