There are at least 3 security guys walking close behind them as they walk on the street after emerging from the subway, there are probably more ahead of them. It was interesting at one point to see one who was in the middle behind them move to the left & casually put himself between them & a person with a face mask & shopping trolley, who was probably just shopping but who knows?
They won't ride the subway by themselves. Hipocritical BS.

Mayors and Governors of EITHER parties SHOULD NOT HAVE MANSIONS. What is this?? We need to reprioritize what politicians make. There should also be legality that blocks all Senators and Governors going on vacations when there is a crisis.

What gets reported to police are not crimes; they are complaints. Whether complaints get recorded and acted on (validated) is another matter. Whether crooks get apprehended , charged, tried and convicted depends on the judiciary. If lots of charges get dismissed, then record keeping is a problem.
Handing investigation over to prosecutors was/is a big mistake.

Hey Jen! Please interview the Governors of FL and Louisiana and Tennessee and ask them why crime is so high in their states. Florida has one of the highest if not the highest crime rates in the country.
Top murder rates by state: Mississippi, Louisiana, Kentucky, Alabama, Missouri, South Carolina, New Mexico, Georgia, Arkansas, Tennessee. (2022) Mostly red states, mostly states with soft gun laws. Gun control works. "Good guy with a gun" is a myth. Oversaturation of the USA population with more guns than people is becoming a daily nightmare. Before the pandemic, NYC was enjoying historically low crime rates. Strict gun control got us there.
Guess that's why millions are escaping CA, NY, MI & Il and fleeing to FL, TX, ID, MT, ...

Jen Psaki is a thorough researcher of facts who is not only insightful but also able to communicate complex issues clearly and WITHOUT dumbing them down. Like Alex Wagner she is a valuable addition to the MSNBC news team. And like Ms. Wagner, Jen Psaki is smoking hot gorgeous too. That needed to be said. :)
As a middle aged straight woman I agree with you on all points and I struggle with wanting to only focus on their skills and achievements when they are so visually appealing as well. The femmes at MSNBC, and some of the fellas, are remarkably well styled and attractive people.

I agree with his spiritual approach in schools. Why would anyone fear it? Schools should spend time with nature to break up the stigma and stress from classroom to classroom.

I think the mayor is dead wrong on pushing religion in our schools. That is unConstitutional. Young people need to be able to see a viable future for themselves, a path to being able to make a living, live in dignity with self respect and it is a school's responsibility to give them the intellectual ability to do so.

These walk and talk interviews are personal in many ways and should be done by more journalists. The reverse camera shows the Mayor's security detail but his interaction with the public isn't hindered. The former cop has confidence in his people and community. Great job as usual Jen! 💖

Reduce guns and crime over time, not overnight:
- Reform the bail policy; lock repeat offenders
- Shame, recall judges & DAs who reduce their sentences
- Ban AR-15s, similar weapons for new purchases
- Increase sentence for illegal guns
- Pay cops more to improve quality
- Build more prisons to demonstrate oversupply
- Amend the 2nd Amendment (“militia” “arms”)
- Embarrass suspect(s) publicly to reduce copycats
