GROUTING PIT, STONE GIRL, DRAGON ROCK, NEMTI

The pit is a 20-million-year-old ancient marine sediment trench, which is built of sandstone, which was able to erode in this way due to its less cemented structure. The rich form of the Morgó pit was formed by water.
The valley gradually narrows, until finally its depth exceeds its width by many times. The landscape combines the characteristics of Mátra's 20-million-year-old Miocene stratovolcano and the basalt volcano of Eszák Nógrád. But here you will mainly find sandstone, which can be easily carved by both the weather and the people. The narrow, barren walls of the canyon offer hikers an experience of a lifetime.
