In 1980 I got to stay with a bunch of hippies I met in Germany, in a huge, ancient, traditional Swiss chalet in Switzerland, near the Austrian border, and it was beyond words, 'the hills are alive with the sound of music!' picturesque!
So indescribably beautiful and awestruck magnificent!
I would sit at the tree/snow line with the towering Alps above me, and listen to the sound of cow bells drift up from the valley below, and as they mixed in with the wind passing through the pines it SERIOUSLY sounded like angels singing, along with the voices of all those who had ever passed through that valley rejoicing in thanks and love over God's glorious wonder and bountiful creation!

I just saw this video today - and am reading through the comments. I rarely comment but had to on this as it moved me so much! In my comment, I told that my sister & her husband were killed in a bus crash touring Switzerland many years ago - and this video, title and all, has so much meaning to me. Then I read your comment which reminded me that, as two retired school teachers, they loved travelling and their adult children chose “What a Wonderful World” as one of the musical pieces at their funeral. On that morning, before the accident, they told a friend they felt so close to Heaven. As we are coming up to the anniversary of their passing, each of these little bits has so much meaning❣️

A friend that was on the tour with them told us that morning, touring in the Alps, they said they felt so close to Heaven! I miss them every day. Now, viewing this amazing video, with that Leonard Cohen (Canadian) musical piece, and seeing the title “Switzerland is Heaven on Earth”, I feel so close to them. I feel that they had a hand in putting this piece together and having it show up on my youtube stream today. Hallelujah❣️ … will share it with family and friends now …

I certainly understand that accidents happen can anywhere. As a matter of fact, my brother-in-law’s brother and his wife were killed in an accident a few kilometres from their home many years previous.
What I was sharing was that this video of Switzerland was so beautiful - the scenes and the music - the title about being Heaven on Earth - and the timing of when I saw it - that of course it had me thinking about their accident.
At the time, I had a really hard time dealing with it. I am from a large, very close family (who also all have a pretty twisted sense of humour when we get together - but that’s for another story) and the loss of my oldest sibling was too much for me to comprehend. Finally, over time with my siblings, our own children, a very close friend who is a minister, an exceptional therapist who also has a strong faith, I have been able to deal with their loss and and look for comfort where I can. … While they both died way too young - leaving behind their young adult son and daughter, each with their own young children - there is still a sense of comfort in this untimely passing. … Their young family lost both parents at the same time - still, knowing that they went together, is a comfort of a sort. They loved travelling and so, died doing something that gave them such enjoyment. As their closest friend was with them, she brought each of us a print of the last picture taken of them - a beautiful shot of them in the Swiss Alps overlooking the Matterhorn. We know they found this trip very special in that they told their friend that morning that they had never felt so close to Heaven! … and so, me watching this video five days before the anniversary of their passing, seeing some the vistas they might have seen and enjoyed, hearing the beautiful song that Leonard Cohen wrote, and thinking about them truly being so close to Heaven when they were there … well, I really don’t have words to describe the feeling of being so close to them again. … I was praising the people who put this out as it touched me so much.

It really does look like heaven on earth. The people who live there are extremely blessed. To be able to visit this place is one thing, to live there is another. I would love living there! I think i would be outdoors all of the time.
I'm so glad Tina Turner was able to experience living there getting her mind, body, and spirit healed after the hell she went through with Ike.

Switzerland is a beautiful country in Europe. It's known for its stunning landscapes, including the Swiss Alps and picturesque lakes. It's a great place to visit if you love nature and want to experience the feeling. There is a green Lake which is a beautiful spot surrounded by big mountains covered in snow. The lake reflects the green trees and the blue sky, making a pretty picture. There's a nice old house nearby that looks like it's from England, vibrant and offer a mix of modern and traditional charm with vines and flowers on the walls. Furthermore, the house is also surrounded by big mountains with white snow on top.
There is a walking side by the cold blue river. The sound of the water is calming, and there's a nice breeze. The fields are green and soft, perfect for sitting, picnic and relaxing. In spring, the flowers bloom, and the air smells sweet. The colors are so bright, it's like a painting such as red, yellow, pink and white.
In addition, in this beautiful country there is also a clear lake which perfect for extreme activity such as kayaking. It is good for eye seeing and escaping from hectic city. Not only that, there's also a big waterfall that's really amazing. The water falls down from high rocks, making a loud sound. It looks like a white curtain cascading down the mountain. When you get close, you can feel the cool mist on your face. It's like standing in a refreshing shower. The water is so clear, you can see through it. It's a beautiful sight that leaves you feeling amazed and happy.

If we started holding people accountable for their actions they wouldn’t have the mansions, jets, private plane’s and islands and fancy car’s and such.
