Gorgeous sceneries on the trails of Gatineau Park

- I walk a few Gatineau Park trails and use their FREE shuttle system in 2024. Visit NCC website for information www.ccn-ncc.gc.ca
I first visited Pink Lake Loop trail where we get to see a gorgeous green/blue protected body of water. This lake has 0 oxygen at the bottom making it a fascinating lake to walk around.

We continue our journey towards the famous Belvédère Champlain/Champlain Lookout where you can take a small trail that loops back to the famous lookout point. Easy trail in terms of terrain and distance.

We then stopped at the Lauriault trails. The greenery on this trail submerges you in what feels like a green tunnel. Minerals like Mica (the gold-like flakes) can be found across the valley. A small stream follow along the trail and form small waterfalls. Once you've crossed the 1.8 M tunnel you can access other trails such as the Mackenzie King Domaine

It's mineral called mica, it's used in some art mediums to create the aspect of gold 👍. Thank you for watching !
