Fragrance addiction is a real problem and a lot of these reviewers are ignoring this part of the hobby. Nobody needs more than five fragrances at a time. The overconsumption of fragrance is insane! More people need to speak up👌🏼
908 fragrances, but I told myself 2024 I need to sort myself out as fragrance is/was something to fill in for what is missing in my life. So far, no purchases in 2024. I'm not saying I won't, but I've set limits and so far, I'm ahead of the plan. I'm always on the lookout for top tier fragrances (to my nose, not by price) and rarely am I that impressed anymore. It's good to talk about fragrance addiction, or any addiction, as anything can be addictive. Fortunately I have never gone into debt and have a healthy financial situation (not rich, but don't live paycheck to paycheck), but I need to find a less expensive interest and improve life in other ways rather than relying on the next fragrance hit, which most of the time is disappointing. When you order fragrances and when they turn up you are surprised as you forgot you ordered it, or as per last year when someone asks what you ordered the night before and you've already forgotten, you know something has to change.

I also learned a few things along the way in the four months that ive fallen into this rabbit hole. I learned that I like deep dark scents like Bentley Intense and the Boss Bottled Elixir. I discovered a sweet spot for leather, incense, bourbon, whisky, oud, sandlewood and agarwood..even sagebrush. I also learned that i dont want no feminine shit like roses, peppermint, pink pepper and lavender etc in my scent. Bro thanks for keeping this real. Watched this video three times already

It’s not being addicted to a fragrance itself. It’s getting the newest or latest thing. It’s keeping up with the Jones’s. It’s a tale as old as time. Also, some have a great sense of self-control and some don’t.
