Cheap frozen lasagne is always a good standby. One of the best things about a ready-made budget lasagne is you can always add grated cheese, tomatoes, chillies or whatever. A friend's cheeky lad calls it 'pimping my lasagne' !!!

Both these meals were produced in the Republic of Ireland, IE, in the same factory, 747, as indicated in the small ovals on the boxes. This factory, along with factory 761, supplies an enormous amount of frozen food for UK supermarkets.

I was surprised when you said that the Tesco one was just 75 pence, looking at that packaging I was expecting you to say it was about £2-£3. With energy bills hitting astronomic amounts from this month onwards I think that a trip down to Tescos to stock up on these would be a very sensible thing to do!

My Dog loves lasagne - the Lidl used to sell theres for 68p - which is just as cheap as the dog food I buy him.
When I cooked one for myself, I would lift the frozen lasagne out of the plastic, pour one cap full of red wine onto the bottom of the plastic container, then put the lasagne back on top. Makes it taste much nicer.

The price is good, of the Tesco and Asda lasagne, but my homemade lasagne is double the size with loads of meat, cheese and tomato !!!! I am so used to cooking from scratch that I never buy ready made meals. But I use dried onions from Amazon, Professional tubs of Italian, or Mexican flavourings. I use minced beef and bacon offcuts and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I cook everything in the Microwave. I have some roasting trays to cook the meat !!!! My home made lasagne costs about the same, but I make double the size of the ready made meals !!!!!

Hi - new here - enjoying it - have you ever done a comparison on the white lasagne sauces ? I prefer to make up my own lasgne but sometimes use the bottled white sauce - there is one I really don't like ( always forget which one tho'!) - it is really nutmeggy to me but I suppose as always it is personal choice

Wow brilliant. If 75 p isn’t an amazing bargain, nothing is. Another ace video.

I get the Tesco one and stick it In the air fryer. I add extra cheese half way which stops the teeth shattering and obviously makes it nicer
