We had a "magical" moment at this restaurant years ago. We did not have a reservation but we noticed that on one of the cast members name tags that she was from our hometown. We struck up a conversation with her and talk about a "small world" she used to live on the same street that we currently lived on. She asked if we had reservations and I stated that we were disappointed but we didn't. She asked us to wait a moment and she brought these magical passes out to us and we got to go in for lunch. Definitely a pixie dust moment!

I wish they had done a ride like the one in the Asia park something everyone can experience. It’s annoying to pay so much money for a park tickets and not be able to get inside beast castle unless you make a reservation months ahead.

Disney has taken what had already been an extremely costly experience, and made it even more expensive with all of the changes. Will not be returning.

My mom and I went to Be our Guest in October of 2020 and it was this pricing and layout but the butter that came with the rolls was Mickey shaped. And the dessert was in the shape of Chip with white chocolate and that was filled with the gray stuff. Those little details were something special and elevated the service to us. Sad to see those gone.

This is hands down the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The food was bland and unappetizing. The atmosphere was loud and cafeteria like. The Beast barely sprints through a couple times. You couldn’t pay me to go back. Huge waste of time and money.

I enjoy watching her videos but they aren't completely honest. She likes EVERYTHING she eats. Not possible unless you have no pallette. Disney food is not that good for her eyes to be rolling in the back of her head every time she takes a bite. I started watching PC Dev...he gives honest opinions on things.

Can count on two hands the number of times a reservation has even popped up and was only able to secure one reservation for 4 pm on my birthday. Unfortunately had to cancel that one. Any reservations that have popped up have been too late in the evening. Just as Dory keeps on swimming, I will keep on checking. Keep up the good work. Thank you and God bless.

If you like roller coasters, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is really nice. It's got some great animal exhibits and rides for all ages. If you go while school is in session (Florida schools start school in early August) there are practically no lines. Also check out tubing down the Rainbow River or Wakulla springs. They are the largest freshwater springs in the world. Going to Orlando's parks constitutes waiting in lines 90% of the time, and locals don't go there nearly as much as you'd think.

I ordered the french onion soup as my appetizer and had the scallops as my main and they were both delicious. Was here last week. You're paying for the experience not the food at this point. I had the steak, it was over cooked and came with instant mashed potatoes that weren't seasoned, no salt or butter. The grey stuff tasted like food coloring and the french onion soup was heavily seasoned not in a good way. I've always wanted to eat there so I enjoyed it but my partner would not stop complaining. I mean he was the one that paid for it so I can understand. But yeah.

    Hi Molly!
Did you go Friday or Saturday?
(we were there Wednesday February 9 for dinner)
Thought everything was okay, not super extraordinary -- other than the theming and being able to have the Beast walk/fastpace through and wave every so often. Beast only makes appearances at dinner.
Wife had the lobster bisque, I had French onion soup (both only okay -- I can make French onion soup at home).
We both had the filet mignon. (Wife only likes about 6 oz of steak so I was the beneficiary.)
Kids had The Nautilus as a drink (slightly overpriced but has a glow cube) -- this is a hat tip to the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride that used to be there.
    Dessert was tasty though.
Our reservations were at 5:30 and despite checking in at that time, it was a bit of a wait to get our table ready (maybe closer to 6 before we got our table).

We got in by chance and were SOOO excited because we didn't think we'd get in. I'm a sucker for theming so that's all I cared about. And thank goodness for that because the food was....not great. Lol but we were still super happy. And I'd go again For the theming.

Back before the change you could get in for quick service and not even have to buy a meal. You could literally only buy The Grey Stuff cupcake and still enjoy the beautiful dining area. The Grey Stuff cupcake was always absolutely delicious, moist and rich. That’s what my family did between meals for a snack and to check out the castle.

Used to be a family favorite, but not anymore. It's always fun to go once, but too many other great options on property, to settle for this at that price point.

We went last October for our anniversary. We had the vegetarian and vegan dishes and they were fantastic! If you check some online reviews, they will state that the vegan dishes are very good at this restaurant-better than the steak or seafood options.

We went last summer for dinner. It’s a one & done for me. The French onion soup was great, and the lamb chops were okay. It was a pain that the Beast never paused long enough for us to get a non blurry picture. Not worth the price in my opinion. We did enjoy the quick service lunch here a few years ago when they had it. We were able to order off of the kids menu that way which made for a decent priced meal to experience the castle. The dinner though…not for me. (Edit: we had done lunch to experience the castle at a decent price, but wanted to try the dinner to see the Beast. If they bring back quick service lunch we would go back, but we won’t do the dinner again.)

I think for a lot of Disney signature restaurants, it should be better than “just okay” for a family of four people paying $300.

I’ve been there 3 times for dinner before they changed it to a signature restaurant, it would have been 4, but I don’t like the prefix menu.
The desserts were always weak in my opinion, and they don’t look like they have improved.
The ballroom is amazing, the west wing is really cool, but I think the rose room has a bit to be desired, if you get stuck in there your experience will be dull.

Agreed. We just returned from a 10 day trip in 2nd half January. The good - Wine Bar George and Sebastians. Sebastians is hands down the best family style in terms of food quality. Ohana was actually our worst compared to recent years. Some staples were fine but meats in particular were not at all memorable. Trails End, Garden Grill, and Liberty Tree were also a bit off. Disney was always costly - 15 visits of 7 or more days since 2007 is our baseline. However, the value proposition just isn't there. We even noticed some cast members like our hostess at Steakhouse 71 that literally gave us a curt "Come on!" when she wanted us to follow her to the table - it is a noisy restaurant and we didn't hear her first request. We won't be back until we see changes.

Just had a reservation last night. Valentines Day ‘23. Waited an hour with no communication. Finally left and somehow managed to get last minute at caseys. Not to dis casey but going from bog to cc. Not the most magical valentines. Comon i work in restaurants, ill admit not this big, but an hour is not a small delay.

Last time we were there in March I didn’t know that when you find an empty table you’re suppose to stand next to it and wait for a cast member to come and clean it. I made the mistake of mentioning that I needed the table cleaned and the cast member was rude to me. I’ve gone enough times that I don’t feel any need to go back.

My family and I ate there recently. The food was really good. If you want a close seat to the path that the Beast takes, just ask the CM. We were lucky because we got there at 11 and plenty of tables were open. They gave us the prime location which btw is the table in ball room next to the hall that leads to Belle's library. It is expensive and it's not a character meal, but if you wave at him or bow if you have a princess sitting with you, Beast will bow back and blow a kiss.

I've eaten here three times in each of the rooms. My favorite was the West Wing room. The food is definitely not the reason you'd want to eat here.
It would've been cool if instead of the Rose Room, they recreated the library with wall high bookcases and still retain the artwork used in the Rose Room. It would be weird to be eating in a library, but at least it was from the film.

I went two weeks ago and the food was really good. I feel it was our chef that made it good because it wasn't salty at all. I miss the lunch menu though and having chip with the grey stuff and not a pic of chip. It was us adults but that sucks to hear about the kids.
