saw one of these here in DFW, was almost exactly the same spec, those wheels are wild in person
I went to the Porsche experience center in Atlanta and drove this track with a GT4, it was fun, but it was so annoying with the instructor yapping in your ear the entire time, also they’re a bit restrictive with the car and try to waste your time with gimmicks if you’re not assertive. Worth doing at least once for sure but I wouldn’t go again. Would rather work hard to buy one of my own and do a track day.
You may have had a twitchy instructor, but I’ve done PEC in LA and ATL and had the opposite experience. You gotta let your driving do the talking, and they’ll let you go. You gotta keep in mind there’s no runoff anywhere, so you can’t treat it like a race track. More or a canyon road.
I went to Atl and thought it was great. Maybe your driving didn’t inspire confidence on the part of the instructor

Manthey is overpriced. Instead, consider investing $75k in factory mag wheels and optimizing your driving skills with trainers. The stock gt3 itself is a perfect already.

This Manthey kit is absolutely worth its money, if you want to have THE BEST track-ready suspension for a 992 GT3 today.
Manthey put a lot of engineering in it with all of their racing experience. You really know NOTHING about the time and amount of engineering Manthey gave to this car on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Manthey is THE BEST.
You can't achieve this with only "some unspecific modifications by your own".

Yes, the Manthey Kit is over overpriced, there is a TON of mark-up in there you are paying for to get the branding.
HOWEVER, the upgrades (especially the motorsport dampers) are worth the upgrade. You can do it sooooo much cheaper though on your own or going with a different motorsport damper like MCS or Ohlin TTX series.
What you are mainly paying for with Manthey is the brand name AND their "Ring" damper settings for compression & rebound. You can do your own playing around with settings and set it to what works best for the roads that you drive on.
This car is nothing but German engineering perfection! The looks, the sound and the engineering. They basically made this a street legal race car with this newest GT3 platform from Porsche what a masterpiece
