I’m a RN .. have two licenses one in calif. One in Florida. I sold my home in Huntington Beach Ca .. I would like to live in a quiet town by the beach. My company is headquartered in Miami. My boyfriend is from Stuart FL and thinks I’d love to move and buy a house in Vero. Your videos are the best !!

Headed there for a 4 day getaway tomorrow! We are driving down from Orlando...It won't be the same due to Covid, but we are going to enjoy it as much as we can

I've been to the Gulf beaches in summer. The sand is on fire and the water is like a hot tub:(
The winter time “pleasant, summertime feeling” is code for “its cold and windy, but still humid. So you will still sweat, but the sweat will feel cold and make you shiver. You can’t do anything about it because bundling up will just make you sweat more”. I live in Sebastian so I’m pretty used to it, but it’s still miserable.
Ryan, I guess I have a different take on it than you. For the most part Nov. thru end of April I don't feel that it's humid at all. I guess it's a personal point of view thing and what you're used to. Having lived in the NE for a bunch of years, and even though I've been here for quite a while, I'm loving our weather.

Is there good metal detecting on the beach?
Traffic is crazy now and rental prices are through the roof it’s looking more an more like Miami traffic

How are the schools and safety in Vero Beach?
I live here and it's one of the safest places in the Nation.
We're thinking of moving there. Is it there still freedom there or restrictions like Miami and Key West?
Vero Beach is a whole different vibe than Miami or Key West. We're pretty light on restrictions. Best suggestion is to plan to visit for a few days and see if Vero Beach area is a fit.

If you enter Riverside Park from Rt60/Beachland Blvd and go past the Riverside Theatre, Art Museum and come to a stop sign make a right (towards the river). You'll come up to a small round about near the entrance to Memorial Island and will want to make the first right there. The fishing pier is about 3/4 of the way down to the end of this road (there's a round about at the end). You'll see a statue/art piece of a dolphin which is colorfully painted which is just by the entrance to walk onto the pier. Happy fishing!

It could be. More likely to be a Manatee
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. That's probably a Manatee that pops up. This was shot at Round Island Park which is at the very southern end of Vero off A1A. I find this to be the most likely place to spot Manatee .... but I'm pretty sure there are no Gators there.
Best part about Vero is it is reliably RED
