I like the Jai Herbert fight because it showed not only can Ilia take damage from a bigger opponent but also his power translates well to lightweight

The fact that he came back from the Herbert knockdown, clearly at 50%, is pretty astounding. Despite Jai’s record, he’s a damned good striker and Ilia being able to change his game plan mid fight after such a setback is equally as awesome in retrospect as it was live.

I've felt Topuria has shown that he is one of the biggest challenges for anyone in this division. He has very similar tactics & strengths that Volk has & he's much younger so he can continue to improve. I feel like this will be the biggest test for Volk at this division. I wish that rematch with Islam never happened because it's such a inaccurate way to judge volks abilities.
