@@ThatCasualZach It's not a complaint about the method of delivery. I have a master's in counseling, but I didn't go get my license to be a therapist. The problem with places like "Better Help" or poor quality therapists is many of these people wouldn't be able to compete in the market as a therapist but they're terrible at their jobs. One of the big "problems" with therapy is that it can actually cause a lot of harm than good if it's not done correctly. Imagine if you went to a doctor, and you have diabetes, but the doctor said there's no hope you have the disease, you can't make any choices or decisions to be healthy, and you just need to embrace it. That's how some of these "therapists" treat anxiety or depression. Instead of giving clients hope and direction, they pathologize them and tell them there is no hope. They give them referrals for medication instead of actually helping the client, then they charge their insurance for hundreds of dollars. It's a fact that if you teach a person to focus on their anxiety, the anxiety disorder will get worse. A therapist is supposed to help create corrective emotional experiences so people can get through their trauma, but nowadays they're instead telling everyone to embrace trauma and get medicated. It's a shame.

I have plenty of other reasons why I stopped the service. The final reason was the rush schedule. I'd pay for an hour and get 45 mins. This isn't just one therapist or one event. It's constant.
