    The laws need to change so that anyone convicted of murder who refuses to disclose the location of any of their victims should be denied any creature comforts in prison. No TV, No Books, No Visits, No medical treatment, nothing. Let them sit in an empty cell. If the family of the victim gets to suffer for life, then so too should the killer.

      Agreed but I don't truly believe Keith's body is on the moors but in the woods of those woodland pictures of Ian and myra either he originally was at the start of the murder that's why she insisted he was there but then shortly after so that if they were caught he'd have a secret to take to the grave with him Ian snuck out and illegally took the car to move his body without myra's knowing, that's my theory anyway and why he was probably desperate for those pictures and negatives after incarceration.

    She was NOT bullied into the murders! I've been with my husband for 15 years I love him more than anything but thay doesn't mean if he asked me to murder children I'd go along with him! She should have shopped him on day 1 before Pauline lost her life! I'm from Manchester and there are many true and untrue tales about Brady and hindley but 1 I know if definitely true is that she chose to help Brady she was NOT bullied into it she deserved to die in prison luckily the hanging law was abolished otherwise we would have never ever known about poor Pauline or Keith

    Why did they have so many dogs, and also a cat? Once they replaced one dog with another, what happened to the previous dog? Did they also torture and kill all these poor animals? Were they also involved in animal abuse? Where did they get the dogs and cats from? A shelter? There is also a total lack of justice for Keith Bennett and his family.

      They had some bizarre cognitive dissonance when it came to animals versus people. When Myra Hindley’s dog Puppet died after being put under a general anesthetic to try and determine the dogs age to when the photos of gravesites were taken, she screamed and cried in the police station and called them all murderers. Behind bars, Ian wrote extensively about his beloved childhood pets and how he cried when his dog, Una died. He wrote that he could never have brought himself to kill sheep or cattle, but people? “The idea of killing people never bothered me in the least.” Myra also spoke about how they would frequently read the crime columns and fantasize about killing people charged with animal abuse.
      It doesn’t make them any less immoral or evil. They didn’t need to prey on poor defenseless animals because they got their kicks from preying on poor defenseless children.

    • @ondinehd6889
      @ondinehd6889 Před 2 lety

      @Mike Booton Yes, that is often the case. I would not have trusted them with either animals or humans. I find troubling the fact that they had animals that they seemed to replace often, just as they did with children. They would torment, abuse, torture, and murder a child, and then move on to the next one. It's possible they did the same with animals. In any case, they must have had a deep hatred of their very own existence, otherwise, how does one explain what they did?

    I think Myra's mother should have been ashamed of herself. When Ian and Myra were first arrested she instantly took *their* side, blaming poor Maureen for reporting them to the police. Even she didn't believe they killed the other children aside from Edward Evans initially, she DID know that know they killed HIM in cold blood, and at the time of Edward's murder Hanging was still legal in the UK, and David Smith could have very well been Hanged, leaving Maureen pregnant and alone.
    Also, it was only a few weeks after they were arrested for the Evan's murder, the police uncovered both Leslie Anne Downey and John Kilbride's bodies as a direct result of examining Brady's photos of Myra posing kneeling on THEIR GRAVES! ...so unless her mother was an imbecile, she KNEW that they were 100% guilty, even if she gullibley believed that only IAN was responsible for murdering them, she still knew Myra was a more than willing accompliced, because A) she was clearly in a relationship with him throughout the period the murders were carried out, and B) She posed, smiling, on their graves!
    With all this in mind, what kind of "mother" decides to disown the PREGNANT daughter who had killed NO ONE and actually had reported the despicable crimes to the police OR the daughter that participated and tried to drag her brother in law into their killing spree.
    Maureen and David were absolutely crucified for many years after the trial, they were accused of being complicit in the Moors Murders, and her "mother" left her to deal with it on her own, didn't even visit her grandchildren, but STILL managed to take herself to Holloway prison every month to visit her disgusting, wicked, bi*ch of a daughter, MYRA.
