I think Myra's mother should have been ashamed of herself. When Ian and Myra were first arrested she instantly took *their* side, blaming poor Maureen for reporting them to the police. Even she didn't believe they killed the other children aside from Edward Evans initially, she DID know that know they killed HIM in cold blood, and at the time of Edward's murder Hanging was still legal in the UK, and David Smith could have very well been Hanged, leaving Maureen pregnant and alone. Also, it was only a few weeks after they were arrested for the Evan's murder, the police uncovered both Leslie Anne Downey and John Kilbride's bodies as a direct result of examining Brady's photos of Myra posing kneeling on THEIR GRAVES! ...so unless her mother was an imbecile, she KNEW that they were 100% guilty, even if she gullibley believed that only IAN was responsible for murdering them, she still knew Myra was a more than willing accompliced, because A) she was clearly in a relationship with him throughout the period the murders were carried out, and B) She posed, smiling, on their graves! With all this in mind, what kind of "mother" decides to disown the PREGNANT daughter who had killed NO ONE and actually had reported the despicable crimes to the police OR the daughter that participated and tried to drag her brother in law into their killing spree. Maureen and David were absolutely crucified for many years after the trial, they were accused of being complicit in the Moors Murders, and her "mother" left her to deal with it on her own, didn't even visit her grandchildren, but STILL managed to take herself to Holloway prison every month to visit her disgusting, wicked, bi*ch of a daughter, MYRA.

Brady was a typical psychopath with a sadistic trait in abuse and torture. It's totally abhorrent and vile. It's the fact the children were abducted and horrendously killed, which turns my blood cold.

I started reading a book about this pair. Without knowing details yet I would guess that Ian at least felt he had a horrible childhood, and it was his goal to punish children to make them feel his pain. It’s often the case that serial killers find surrogates punish - Bundy’s wrath was supposedly the girlfriend who dumped him - but perhaps Brady’s surrogate was himself. I’ll maybe have a better idea after reading.

It had to happen one day, that Brady would die, probably 20 years too late. Although he was an old man, born the same year as my frail mother, 1937, I have no sympathy for the appalling murders he committed as a stupid mentally ill young man.

Why didn't they check where Ian Brady first walked to very fast where he stood looking forward for a while when he first got taken to the Moore when he made out he wanted to help the police!!! As he knew exactly where he was heading and looking, and people like him have a delight in knowing where the body of that little boy is It wouldn't put it past me if he was standing exactly where KB was 😢 right Infront of the police's eye 👀!!!! Please don’t put biased women on these shows again. I really hope these women aren’t real psychologists or involved in any criminal decisions. Please speak to them if you made this documentary. You're deluded. He didn't believe in God & if you do (and that god happens to be Yahweh) then there's not going to be any tears from the big guy over a few murdered children. A summary glance at the OT paints a picture of a god quite fond of killing kids. If He's in a particularly sour mood he doesn't hesitate to drown all but eight people and a crude ship full of non human animals. You probably don't have a problem with people slaughtering children on divine command theory though, so if God told Brady to do it that'd be fine... Cognitive dissonance plus.

Nothing remarkable or special about anything they've ever done, said or wrote. Raped, killed innocent children spent your entire life in a cell being pumped full of pharmaceuticals and food through a tube in your nose to keep you a continuous tax payer burden until you finally freed up a bed. Total debt to society since birth. Really people could give less than a shit about his remorse if it be fake or otherwise. It wasn't about showing where the body was.... he didn't remember.......and the only petty card he had to play was making weak minds believe he did and could.
