I still use my Master airbrushes, but after 25 years of airbrushing, I finally decided to buy my “dream brush”, and got a Harder & Steenbeck Infinity plus. Zero regrets. It is now my absolute workhorse, but as I said, I am still faithful to Master, and their airbrushes. They make a fantastic product, especially for the price.
That is a super nice airbrush. I got mine right after they released it and it is a brush that definitely pucnhes above its weight class
I typically use iwata brushes and compressor, but thats just because I inherited it from my pop. As I was watching the video I was amazed at the pressure regulator on the quick connect! Why that isn't on EVERY quick connect I don't know, but I just ordered a couple of them off Amazon....
Love the Master airbrush!
I installed In-Line Desiccant Air Dryer after the water separator found it works really good
Dude. Great channel. Subbed. You will absolutely LOVE that airbrush. I use mine daily and it works flawlessly!! Enjoy it. Keep spraying and thanks for the VERY informative information.
Thanks! So far so good. I'm loving it.
Also, that quick release has a valve in it! I have those for both of my airbrushes because I can regulate the air pressure right there at my gun. For tiny detail areas where you want to get like an inch away from the model, you just turn that little screw and slow down your air pressure and won't blast your model. Saved from having to reach wherever your compressor is and cranking that knob. 😁👍
This is true! However, when i want to get close I just take off the nozzle end and expose the needle. I can get close enough to spray the smallest of lines and details.
Thats really interesting!
Thank you!
That looks like a nice airbrush. I prime and base with an Iwata Neo and detail with a Harder and Steenbeck Infinity plus but my compressor is the same as yours. Matter of fact, I only started using a compressor with a tank around Thanksgiving last year. It does make it easier to film without the compressor running all the time. Same results though. Glad you got you a new compressor and can get back to painting!! 😊 And before you ask, yes, I'm working on a new video 🤣
That's the spirit! And that new video is gonna kick ass! Watch and see!
@@TheCreativeCollector I hope you're right :) It's coming soon!
Just tried this with a rattle can since I don’t have an air brush and it looks pretty good until you get a closer look at it. The can pretty much gives it back the texture that I sanded off.
Sounds like maybe you didn't get everything dusted off after sanding?
Good timing I’m just getting into the hobby and planning out all the purchases I need to make. Do you already have a video on making an ideal setup for a noob?
Not yet! But I was planning on doing a video going through the basics of what you need to get started.
I personally recommend buying a harbor freight or California air compressor. Slightly more expensive than “airbrush compressors” but then you have a compressor that will operate tools. And the simple air blow adapter is awesome for cleaning surfaces.
Great tip!
master makes pretty decent/good stuff. my first airbrush kit was Master and 3 yrs in and still going strong, I did upgrade to a procon airbrush and wow big difference but I mainly upgraded cause I paint gundams and I wanted a nicer gun
I like their products personally. I saw this new airbrush and decided to get it. Been using it here lately and man....it's awesome!
I have a master airbrush. It sadly only lasted a year and a half. Maby it’s my fault for cleaning too roughly but the 3 mm nozzle broke up the first day and now air is leaking from all the different places, the O rings got crumbly and I won’t be able to use it anymore. I would recommend a Harder steenbeck Ultra or a revolution as an upgrade!
If you've used any solvent to clean it then it won't last long, plus you gotta be careful with those needles. Harder and Steenbeck are way more expensive so they better be much better. lol
@@TheCreativeCollector will be more careful with my new H&S airbrush!
also they sell a multi outlet uh...thingy that you connect to air compressor so you can hook up multiple lines
Yes thats the next thing Im gonna get.
Master products for the master.....seems a perfect match.
Oh man..thanks a bunch! I'm humbled.
@@TheCreativeCollector You're welcome......amazing work.
yes i have a ultrasonic cleaner there handy there cheap as well
Yeah, not expensive at all. I used to have one for my airbrush and they get it so clean, so I'm getting another.
Where are you getting stl files? Awesome work!
Mostly Wicked3D but there are lots of others out there. Just look up some of the 3D printing Facebook groups.
Do you have a store where you sell your statues or you sell them by private orders
No I don't. Sorry
I have the same exact airbrush I just want to know how do you get the first nozzle off not the needle nozzle but the first nozzle, it’s on there pretty snug and I can’t get that little sucker to budge and I can’t fine any assemble videos anywhere on this particular airbrush
It took me a minute to get it off but I had to wiggle it to get it to budge.
@@TheCreativeCollector did you use any kind of tool?
No I just used my hand
How often should I be sealing my models? Should I seal after base coat?
At least seal when you are done. I do it when I have to paint a larger section and have to handle it. I do this so I don't take off the paint.
Do you use an extractor or mask?
I use a respirator and I have an extraction filter too
Can you recommend an air brush to paint helmet and armour?
There's so many out there, but some good inexpensive ones are Iwata Eclipse and some Badger brushes. Good but wont break the bank.
@@TheCreativeCollector thank you do I need a 8mm nozzle to help with large areas and what psi am I needing?
@@TheCreativeCollector iv also seen the cordless ones?
That black coating on the airbrush is so sleek.
I like it!
My question is why do you have another airbrush if you have one “called” master elite plus🤔
I have several for different applications because of different nozzle sizes. One for primer, one for base coats, one details and so on. Different paint consistency. Keeps them from clogging.
@@TheCreativeCollector
I had to ask, last couple days I’ve been looking into them and have been trying to figure out what one is best suited for doing candy paint with some fine detail and fading
What mm the air brush..…?
It comes standard with a 3mm
