From a 2009 airing on MLB Network, Resurrecting the Dream "takes an insider’s look into Hamilton’s journey back into baseball." This documentary "recounts Hamilton’s journey both in his own words and for the first time, from the perspectives of his family members and close friends. The program marks the first documentary ever produced on Hamilton, and takes a comprehensive look into Hamilton’s substance-induced breakdown, personal recovery and eventual climb to become one of the top hitters in the American League." We'd like to say things ended well for Mr. Hamilton here, but, well, real life rarely has a typical Hollywood ending. Unless you like your endings out of an A24 studio production, then, yes, Hamilton's did.

But it didn't
He's struggled since
Not sure how he's doing in 2024 because he doesn't play baseball so no one cares about covering it
To me he's still a fascinating guy
