Edit: I don't know why I said the battery life is a year lol. It's rated for 280 hours - so depending on usage, it could last a year, but yeah. 280 hours.

i feel like some reviewers should compare the performance as if it is a regular cube, since im sure that plenty of people will consider getting a smart cube instead of a regualr speedcube and and think it need to be talked about more.

The main problem I've had with the app (iOS) is that it just won't connect when I'm not on wifi. If I'm away from home on LTE or offline, the app just sits on the splash screen. Other than that, I've had no big problems with it, but I do miss the matchmaking multiplayer with bots, since it gave you a "person" near your skill level to race against, rather than the "rooms" the new app has, where you could get any skill levels - not great for people who are more average or beginner speeds, just getting crushed by

Does the cubeast app or the app from gan work with blindsolveing methods(3 style)? I mean if I do a solve on the cube using one of the apps it will properly reconstruct my solves or it will just show a long sequence of moves?

If you have an m1 macbook, you just go to the app store. You'd need a virtual machine or emulator if on other systems.

Hey Cyoubx, I have also gotten my gan 356 i carry and almost immediately the battery died. Did this also happen to you? Thanks.
Try removing the battery and putting it back in. The battery isn't dead, I think the cube just needs to be reset. Let me know if that works.

How do you change the battery?
There's two screws in the ball core inside. Just unscrew it and swap; out the coin battery!
