Otherwise every Sorc base spell slots and extra gained from equipments can be consumed into SP for Metamagic.
So anyway… I started blasting 😎 It was such a shame, that sorcerer and warlock spellslots did not work properly at the release of the game 😢 Switched to play full sorcerer, but it was so much fun nonetheless. This is such a great presentation of one of the, if not the most, powerful builds in DnD 5e. Even more powerful in bg3, cause no DM will allow such preparation, powerful artefacts, items stacking, etc. right before the BBEG boss battle 😂 Great work, sin tee ❤
I think this is the coolest BG3 video I’ve ever seen. I have absolutely no idea what you did before the fight but I was actually laughing about how disrespectful this fight was. 10/10
Very simple. His hat when taking his Hp below half gives him extra bonus action. Having spec’d into sorcerer. The whole plan is to get more sorcerer points and burn out his spell slots. If you plan on casting just eldritch blast, you don’t need spell slots. Then he used his bonus actions, extra bonus actions to use quicken to burn those sorc points and give more eldritch blasts. Action surge gave more eldritch blasts and so did haste. Bloodlust gives more eldritch blasts. Then, the enemies were surprised so they skipped their turn. He had his summon outside the door to plan on another round of surprise so they skip their turn again but they died before he could do that.
With so many boosts to your spell attack, it might be advisable to take Spell Sniper instead of ASI as your fourth level Sorc feat, increase your crit range even further. That's the only optimization i can think of here, well done!

Hey sin not sure if you knew this but specifically for charisma theres another +1 bonus for the mirror of loss called stelmanes something, you get it randomly when you havent done the religion check for the mirror. You can get the +1 and then also get +2 from the mirror after. This allows you to get charisma to 24 without needing the +2 hat or alternatively get charisma to 22 and use the mirror on another stat!
how? after i get my charisma inprooved by 1 i can't talk to the mirror anymore :( BTW that stupid mirror has always been bugged in everyone of MY PT ... last time, even if i passed every check, i still got the +1
@@acavaglia I did it on all my characters. You have to not try the religion check, and then do the mirror till you get the +1 and have something left to forget. Then you pass the religion check and do the mirror again and you're awarded the +2. It's glitchy sometimes you won't get the +2 but just quickload and redo it.
@@LiamFarleyMA uhmm i'm not sure i want to have an odd number in charisma all the run just to try this but .... well maybe i can respec just before that? how do you use it ... i mean mirror is ACT 3 only, how you preogress your character before that normally as less powerful or you simple take the hag hair and then respec into 16 and take the mirror for a 17 + hag hair 18 ? this is a nice idea to work with i think, this way even if don't work you still have your character balanced ... ok i can work with that And i just realized "The answer was within me" and for once it may not be wrong even! xD
@@acavaglia you just respec to change your ASI's after getting it. So instead of hag hair to get 18 and then ASI to 20 you go 2x ASI or ASI + actor to get to 20 then 21 with hag hair, 22 with stelmane buff, and 24 with mirror.
This guy just blasts the f out of those demons in 12 seconds in reality. A sorlock that shoots Gatling eldrich blast and destroys anything that is caught on sight.
Hi Sin Tee. I've been a fan of your builds since DOS2. Is it possible to have written guides about these builds like the ones you had with DOS2? Videos are great to show how builds work but a pain to watch after every level up for all 4 characters.
ATTENTION!! This build has been patched. Knife of the MK no longer reduce the GENERAL crit chance by 1… It reduce the crit chance ONLY FOR ATTACKS MADE THROUGH THE KNIFE itself… Hardly nerfed
Am I the only one who's impressed by 100% hold monster chance? BTW how did you achieve this? I mean is this enough - Scarlet Remittance+build or am I missing something?
He also drinks the arcane equity elixir and then a bloodlust potion, even though only one elixir can be active at once, he retains the arcane equity for 3 turns still
@@xaviersgiantego1453 Yeah that seems bugged. I also noticed when you enter combat after using elixir of battlemage your arcane acuity loses one charge and goes from 3 to 2. I think this is related
@@xaviersgiantego1453 eh. don't think its bugged - You can 3 Arcane Acuity when drinking it - if you don't drink another elixir, it stays at 3, but if you do drink another one, it just is 3 initially and ticks down normally
There is a trick to save Alfira while playing DUrge, look it up. I think you should knock her using non lethal damage as soon as you meet her at the grove and then long rest, she is remplaced by another bard. (Try to sneak attack her and one shot her if possible). You have videos explaining that on CZcams.

Killed all the grove with minthara and just at the beginning of act 2 realised there is no way to have most crucial item in this build ;/ Shame, now I have to switch for different build, don't want to use mods.
Can you add in your bilds not only Rafael, but also Ethel, Dror Razglin, Minthara, Malus, Thisobald, Ketherik Thorm, Casador and Sarevok? Of course not all, but mb just schow how work your bild early. I know you don't have much time, but...
Cool! Why all the spell slot / sorc points restorations at the start during prep? Can't you just use the magic pool / fawcets in Raphael's bedroom to get fully restored? Or are you somehow banking points above restored?
How did you make this much critical hits You've scored a critical hit with almost all of your actions.(btw i am not talking about raphael i am talking about other enemys)
Stacking Crit KoUK + Dead Shot + probably Champion subclass + probably spell sniper = crit on 16 or higher. 25% odds of crit. Risky ring makes all attacks have advantage so you get 2 chances to crit. Ultimately, each individual beam has a ~45% chance to crit. There is ~82% chance at least one of the beams crit and proc the warlock fear passive at least once. You can actually stack way more into crits which would might be better for most encounters since you shouldn't usually need some of the things sin tee needs here to solo this boss encounter
All the builds showcased on this channel have the potential to solo the game Id say. I'm currently running a party with 3 out of 4 builds from sin tee and I am steam rolling just everything, there is 0 challenge, so probably any of those (maybe not the wizard?) could solo.
Why did you have a 100% chance of paralyzing Raphael, with such a low level of wisdom? I had a 50% chance, I still paralyzed him and killed him thanks to luck.
The only problem with that is, now it is no longer a vanilla gameplay. Anybody can watch this video and copy the exact strategy, cross-platform. As soon as a mod is introduced, you are gonna have people accusing the player of having a modded or cheat items, even though the only thing we changed was enemy difficulty.

How do you get to keep the enemy close to the illusion. Whenever I use it they walk over and immediately turn away leaving me no time to do anything.

If you used the fountain on a sorc it restores the points as if you had a long rest. So you don't keep anything, it just restores to 4

Could Crimson mischief be an alternative to Rhapsody? Not sure how the additional 7 dmg is added.
In my testings, Crimson Mischief only proc on it own weapon attacks, the extra 7 damage doesn't get added on Eldritch Blasts.

I think he switches to turn based mode prior to combat which gives him the surprised advantage. There's like a slight delay after the dialogue ends.

Scrolls use spellcasting modifier of the last spellcaster class taken, in this case, Hold Monster scroll DC is based on the Warlock Charisma.
What does the last spellcaster class taken mean? That is, you first level up the wizard, and then take the Warlock levels?@@sintee106
