I've purchased the Arri Hi-5 along with Alexa 35, but not sure what focus motors should I get, any suggestions. This will be used for our in house production and for rentals. Would appreciate your advice. thanks
Hi there, we recommend the cforce mini motor as our all-purpose motor. It's the smallest and lightest option, while still being very capable of moving most lenses fast enough for normal shoots. The cforce plus is a good option if you regularly use large zooms or stiff vintage lenses. The cforce mini RF will not be necessary for an ALEXA 35, but is useful if the kit will be used for non-ARRI cameras as well. The most common 1st AC kit for your situation is probably 2x cforce mini motors and 1x cforce plus. - Sean

Is it compatible with venice 2?
Hi Thomas, yes the Hi-5 is compatible with all cameras. For Sony Venice 1 and 2 we suggest the RIA-1 Radio Interface Adapter to be used as a motor controller and wireless receiver on the camera. With the next software update for Hi-5 we will release a Sony camera control license too.
