    Alice. Thanks for the effort. You put more effort to this than any Liverpool channel, very much appreciated. Liverpool have offered big sums for Alisson, Nunez, Caicedo, Van Dijk.
    1. Inacio > Hincapie > Hancko. Diomande is good but may be more expensive.
    2. Ait-Nouri is different than Robinson, both could work.
    3. Wieffer, Fofana are good as DMs though not EPL tested. They both get dribbled past quite a bit, but they are the best players available. No to Onana or Ugarte. I don't know what you see in him, he's overrated and a reject at PSG.
    4. Kudus yes, Soulé possible. No to Olise or Neto, too many injuries.
    5. Gyökeres might be too expensive, Openda is a good alternative.

    Those players are looking to be the next academy products to earn spots in Arne Slot squad. Sepp Van Den Berg,Owen Beck,Tyler Morton,Fabio Carvalho,Dominic Corness,Melkamu Fraunedorf,Luke Chambers,Amara Nallo,Bobby Clark,James Mc Cornell, Lewis Koumas,Jayden Danns,Musialowski,and Harvey Blair.

    • @jimflan1712
      @jimflan1712 Před 26 dny

      many of them will never make Liverpool standard and will be sold or released (Corness, Fraundorf, Musialowski, Blair) and others will probably just fall a bit short and/or be sold to raise cash (Morton, Beck or Chambers (will keep one to replace Tsimikas), and maybe Van De Berg and Carvalho - though these might both be given another year to look at). Koumas and Danns will probably go out on loan. Nallo is only 16 so one for the future. Clark and McConnell are already in first team squad so good luck to them both - I just hope they get enough game time. You didn't mention Gordon (who I;m sure will get into the 1st team squad this year) or Nyoni who is the best prospect of the lot - he will be a start that boy.

    Bare in mind that Slot will most likely require 2 goalkeepers as well.
    Kelleher is leaving, most likely destination Wolverhampton Wanderers.
    While Adrian has decided to return to his native Spain.
    Anthony Patterson at Sunderland or James Trafford at Burnley have been linked as a possible successor to Kelleher.
    Could still use an experienced goalkeeper to replace Adrian, Alex McCarthy at Southampton is one candidate who has been mentioned for that role.

    The reason Edward's had given Klopp the recommendations of a Firmino style of players is because that is want Klopp wanted form his striker and what he was told to scout for... Klopp then made the exception on Darwin Núñez after playing him twice against Benfica and he was absolutely amazing and thought the team was in need of prue goal numbers after Mane left. VVD even said he was the toughest hes ever played against and in the heat of the moment chose to pull the trigger before united did ect. To be fair in another universe it hasn't been a horrible transfer but cloud of been better ... no joke 30-40 goals better lol, but hes still young. Slot doesn't really play with a out and out flase 9 so Edwards wont be really looking for that type of player, unless Slot asks him to, Edwards then will have the final decision if that player is right for Liverpool or not., stats, age, price etc.

    A lot of Liverpool’s business depends on who leaves. But the positions that need to improved for certain are CB & DM. Taking into consideration Edwards data heavy transfer philosophy with the primary focus on buying pre & early peak players with a lot of match experience these would be my ideal signings.
    Goalkeepers: I’ve gone with Trafford to replace Kelleher, he’s young with potential but now the 2nd choice after some poor performances at a team who’s been relegated he could be convinced to join. To replace Adrian I’ve gone with Hennessy mainly because he has prem experience (although not recently), he won’t take up a none homegrown player slot & his contract is ending this summer.
    Left Back: Depends on who leaves, I don’t think any will with Tsimikas only signing a new contract this season so ideally I’d sign Kerkez next season (assuming he has a good season). But if Robbo was sold I’d want Ait Nouri, if Tsimikas was sold I’d maybe let Beck be the new back up after a good loan.
    CB: I’d want Hancko as he’s worked with slot, left footed with experience at LB. Not convinced Edwards would sign a young CB like Yoro, Diomande or Pacho with the price tag & lack of experience. Van den Berg could also be given a chance after loan.
    DM: If he’s available I’d take Ugarte like I would’ve last season although I’m not sure if he’s a good fit for how Slot would want to play.
    RW: It really depends on Salah, if he signs a new long contract I’d want Bakayoko to be backup, if he stays for a year I’d want Kudus next year when his £85m release clause is active, if he leaves I think Olise is the best available option.
    LW & ST: I don’t see any signings happening unless it’s someone cheaper like Summerville or Marmoush since Liverpool already have options there that are unlikely to leave.

    @user-yw6jo5ld6l Před 28 dny +1

    highly doubt Liverpool will go for a striker they got enough to work with there, the main focus should be to get the best out of the players they got cause there is plenty of talent in that squad, no point spending money when its not necessary, a defender is a must but apart from that they are well equipped with both young guns and experienced players, unless big money offers come in and players depart they are fine

    Personally as a Liverpool fan if I was to choose 5 signings for this summer it would be:
    1. Hincapie (priority this summer needs to be left footed cb, right sided cb we have quansah breaking through whose basically the Matip replacement anyways)
    2. Hartman/robinson (need a lb, robbo is getting on and tsimikas not good enough, should be sold)
    3. Wieffer or ugarte (would be happy with either)
    4. Olise over kudus for me personally.
    5. Guirassy (very low release clause and would be a good option upfront, heard it’s been quoted £18mil release clause.)

    • @LoyalFan9383
      @LoyalFan9383 Před 27 dny

      Guirassy has been over performing his XG this season which he has never done before and always under performed in XG. Now this could mean 1 of 2 things, either he’s a world class finisher as only the best finishers in the world, the best of the best (Kane, Haaland excluding this season, Messi, Lewandowski etc) OR he’s just going through a purple patch as he’s having some confidence, since he’s cheap you could just go for it but I’d wait to see in Janurary 2025 if this continues and see how well he plays in the champions league because to me he is just going through a purple patch (Nunez was the same in Benfica under performing XG then blew up in 21/22 over performing XG and we now know how that went)

      @@LoyalFan9383 He actually overperformed it last season as well, expected 10.9 but got 15. His data has actually been really good for a while now, but this season he’s obviously been a lot better, he’s over scored his xg by 7.16, so that’s still 20-21 goals if he hadn’t, which is brilliant. At 28 that’s prime years for a striker as well, so if the 18 mil release clause is true then it’s a no brainer. There is absolutely no chance you can wait until January, as there will be a lot of clubs in for him, especially considering the lack of quality strikers about these days.

Disagree with that about being able to wait until Jan, he will 100% go in the summer. He’d got injured in December and also with the afcon in January (wasn’t fully fit but made a few apps in afcon), meant a transfer in Jan wasn’t really going to materialise, plus stuttgart really didn’t want to lose him, so probably a gentleman’s agreement to stay until the summer. I still believe in Darwin, so my thinking was to get an experienced striker to rotate alongside, but it’s not a main priority. Cb,lb,cdm & a winger is higher priority.

      And then we still haven’t even made a defensive signing (DM, LB, CB)
      So you want us to go spend €300-400m on 6-7 new players (pretty much a whole new squad)…
      Or you just want us to change the whole attack and not make a single improvement defensively?
      Just doesn’t make sense… New coach, new system so all these things could change. We should get one versatile winger, that’s it offensively.
      When the manager leaves, most of the staff leave and there’s all these changes. It’s important to keep your squad, your spine. Can’t be changing everything, that’s just asking for it to go downhill.

If Saudi came in with a good offer I would sell Salah, Alisson (very good offer for him so ideally keep), Van Dijk. A lot of players at Liverpool are overrated and if Liverpool truly want to win the champions league and premier league consistently again then he’s a whole squad clear out is needed, considering FSG are very stingy, player sales with good money is definitely needed, and yes the priority is a CB, DM, LB so sign them first and then get the other players replaced
