Great vid thanks just a note to anybody who doesn't have the hole cutters. Just cut a small rectangle and fix and seal the plate over it. The plate already had the holes.
Make sure the hole on the exhaust is facing down so condensation can escape 😉👍
The fuel line is supposed to run under the van up into the heater, that way you can also mount the pump outside. This also gives the heater a flat seal onto the floor. When you do the main tank dip tube you can change the setup. Good video, thanks again 👍
Yer want to mount it a little different but this is temporary and just to get it in and working. Thanks mate 👍
Is the pump ok to be mounted under the van or would the weather and moisture get to it??
Bet thats well cozy now
So warm its lovely just sit in there now on the drive lol
Another great video sir thankyou for your efforts, me and the missus are considering getting one of these but I need to learn about the installation and your video has once again helped lots 🤙🤘🤙🤘
Prob just me worrying a little
Thank you mate for the support.
I worry about stuff like that I don't want to harm anyone but its a easy job, I might have watched 10 videos before I done mine
Ensure the exhaust smoke clears tge van mate I've extended mine with a peice of 22mm copper pipe as it fits straight into the silencer and can be bent to go anywhere, I will make a video of this tomorrow to help explain. Great video cheers
Yer please mate I was thinking I needed to extent to exhaust, cheers mate
@@PranceProject I didn't extend mine for over a year and thought it was fine as it ran onto to heat shield for the main exhaust, it ended up rotting part of my exhaust pipe after a year of use.
Well thats not what i want or need lol think I will getting that sorted very soon
@@vwt4camperconversionclub741 Do you have a link to the video please?
Good job mate, wait till you get a frost and can defrost it without touching the van lol..
I've got the remote to work aswel so I can turn on without leaving my house haha. Thank you mate
Brawo💪
Thanks mate
What springs are you running and how low cheers, great video!
5 inch Faulkner's but soon to be 4 inch Faulkner's
make sure you get a couple of carbon monoxide alarms bud. they dont have the same safety feature as the epispatcher heaters that shut off if they leak gasses
I have one on order should be here tomorrow I was ment to add that to the video lol
And a fire extinguisher just in case 😄
Where abouts did you route the exhaust? I'm still plotting on where to fit the heater..... Either in the boot with the leisure battery or just behind the drivers seat boxed in but I'm concerned about fumes coming in the van that way🤔
Hi mate
I put mine behind the drivers seat and put the exhaust out the floor I havent had any fumes come back through just use heat resistant silicone and u should be golden
Do you find 5kw is sufficient?
What sealant did you use? The exhausts on these get mega hot. 250 + degrees so heat resistant sealant is needed 🔥👍
Used high temp silicon I thought it might get hot and that would be a good idea
Get something called "Fire mate" sealant
Sounds like the fan is rubbing on the housing
I thought that but I have checked and it doesn't seem to be touching
When's the next video out 😁😁😁😁👌
Hopfully Sunday mate
@@PranceProject fab 😁👌
Best thing I installed was my desel heater
Great to be fair wish I didnt wait so long to get and fit one
@@PranceProject just make sure to get carbon monoxide detector! Cant be too safe just incase
Also the air outlet vent rotates after bolted in so its not to important to get it pointed the right way
Got a carbon monoxide thing I should have said in the video,
What u mean pointing the right way? What pointing where lol... do you mean the exhaust?
What the name of the beat at the start? I hear it everywhere
I have no idea ill try find out, its something I found royalty free
Can these be run on other fuel ? Parafin or heating oil?
No mate it's a diesel heater for diesel, not sure if u can get them for other fuels
@@PranceProject red diesel 👍
