    Great vid thanks just a note to anybody who doesn't have the hole cutters. Just cut a small rectangle and fix and seal the plate over it. The plate already had the holes.

    Make sure the hole on the exhaust is facing down so condensation can escape 😉👍

    The fuel line is supposed to run under the van up into the heater, that way you can also mount the pump outside. This also gives the heater a flat seal onto the floor. When you do the main tank dip tube you can change the setup. Good video, thanks again 👍

      Yer want to mount it a little different but this is temporary and just to get it in and working. Thanks mate 👍

      Is the pump ok to be mounted under the van or would the weather and moisture get to it??

      I worry about stuff like that I don't want to harm anyone but its a easy job, I might have watched 10 videos before I done mine

  • @vwt4camperconversionclub741

    Ensure the exhaust smoke clears tge van mate I've extended mine with a peice of 22mm copper pipe as it fits straight into the silencer and can be bent to go anywhere, I will make a video of this tomorrow to help explain. Great video cheers

      @@PranceProject I didn't extend mine for over a year and thought it was fine as it ran onto to heat shield for the main exhaust, it ended up rotting part of my exhaust pipe after a year of use.

    make sure you get a couple of carbon monoxide alarms bud. they dont have the same safety feature as the epispatcher heaters that shut off if they leak gasses

    Where abouts did you route the exhaust? I'm still plotting on where to fit the heater..... Either in the boot with the leisure battery or just behind the drivers seat boxed in but I'm concerned about fumes coming in the van that way🤔

    • @PranceProject
      @PranceProject  Před rokem

      Hi mate
      I put mine behind the drivers seat and put the exhaust out the floor I havent had any fumes come back through just use heat resistant silicone and u should be golden

  • @mcjjordan

    Do you find 5kw is sufficient?

  • @davidhenderson7722
    @davidhenderson7722 Před 3 lety

    What sealant did you use? The exhausts on these get mega hot. 250 + degrees so heat resistant sealant is needed 🔥👍

    • @PranceProject
      @PranceProject  Před 3 lety +1

      Used high temp silicon I thought it might get hot and that would be a good idea

      @@PranceProject just make sure to get carbon monoxide detector! Cant be too safe just incase
      Also the air outlet vent rotates after bolted in so its not to important to get it pointed the right way
