Good to see you back ! TBH I think your narrative film photography vids are one of the best I have seen, it was always well considered, well summarised and don’t put pressure on yourself sometimes the best ones are those that makes you laugh. Cheers

I think that putting yourself out there is better than nothing, even if you don't know how it will turn out, and even if people don't care about it at first. I stopped my passion of photography for two years and I regret it more than anything in my life. I also feel like that feeling of not getting the result that you hoped for is a sign of being a creative person. It shows that you take your passion seriously, and won't be satisfied with anything less than your vision.

Always a thrill to see new videos from you. Your narratives become more thought provoking and deep in each coming video, which is amazing! Please keep more of them coming.😁

I'm sorry I was so late to this one. I have about 190 channel subscriptions, I'm sure a quarter of them are on photography. The personalities, styles, and content I enjoy span the spectrum. Maybe I'm just too easy. Watching your videos is more like visiting a pal than digesting a presentation. Whether you are talking about cameras or film, putting them to use and showing the results, talking about other people or history or whatever, it's all good. The key is that you put a lot of you into your work. And it shows.
And the unboxing threat killed me.

Just keep moving forward Erik - and make what pleases you. I've only been on you tube for about 9 months but I learned pretty quick that pure self effacing honesty, regardless of the subject, is key. You already have that. Make what matters to you and we'll follow.

What going on with all these awesome photography channel owners having an identity crisis. It must be the chemicals in the 120 film or something! Joking aside, I just 'found' your channel and quickly subscribed because of your engaging, interesting and no-nonsense content. I'd like to see more. PS - Ze Frank is the bomb.

Don't feel the need to be the *best* at reviewing cameras, film, or whatever else. And who defines what *best* is anyway? Just be the best at making *your* videos. I find them enjoyable and engaging and you have a nice, natural style in the way they're presented and I look forward to seeing more of them.

With my new job (I love the new job ) I don't have almost no time for my hobby like photography and building stuff. But it's ok. I am now part off a different big project that I need to complete.

shoot some film. show off some film stocks and old cams. talk about the results, I like the stories behind the pics as well. that's all I care about. No need to be super hard on yourself or try to play into youtube's algorithm bs. (oh and have some beers too).

Stop over thinking it, and just make more videos, some are going to be good, some are going to be bad but keep doing making them, and put a piece of tape over the subscribers count.
