This architectural masterpiece reflects Jefferson's innovative designs and personal vision. Monticello is a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its neoclassical architecture, beautiful gardens, and extensive grounds.
Visitors to Monticello can explore the house, which features original furnishings and artifacts, and tour the surrounding gardens and plantation grounds. The site also includes Mulberry Row, where enslaved people lived and worked, highlighting the complex history of slavery at Monticello. Beautiful video Wendy! Good view of a complex genius. Forty years to build his house, (construction workers still emulate this precedent).
I myself am happy that my Mansion is being built by a master craftsman, over two thousand years in the building!
    Thank you Jesus!

I visited Monticello some 35 years ago, and the guide at that time told us the pool she is standing in front of, was used to hold the fish, caught by the slaves. They were re caught whenever a fish meal was wanted by the family. I'll bet a lot of fisherman today would love to have such a pool to hold their catches until a fish meal was wanted.

His concern in separation of church and state was to keep government out of the church, but not to keep the moral law out of government.

And that’s good! We need God’s law in our government. Now more than ever.
