I was quite excited about pulling this out the box this week, Frederic Malles Rose & Cuir. Did it live up to my excitement? Mmmm.. Little of yes, little of no, mostly no.

Interesting to hear your thoughts on this one ,I tried it recently and I get the same watery green rose that you do but the leather never tones down on me. Granted I've only worn it a couple of times , so I still need to fully understand it.

Ahh you're lucky, man! If the leather note lasted longer on me I'd be much more interested in this, I quite liked that part!

A very astringent fragrance with a very loud geranium. I’ve definitely smelled rose done better.

I barely noticed the leather in the end, it was all about the geranium! A nice scent but really overpriced.

Didn’t like it at the first sniff on blotter, too fresh too green too carrot-y. But oh it grows on skin!!!
