Thank you very much! Usually I talk about my compositions and tell the settings. Having the settings in text next to the photo is something that I feel like is a bit distracting. I want you to look at the photograph. :)
Excellent intro, that drone footage was so good! You got some really great shots today. No Otter but you got to see a Waxwing, such an elegant and beautiful bird.
Home blind, yes. That's exactly how I felt when we went to Kakabeka Falls a few days ago. It's such a beautiful place but that doesn't necessarily equate to finding great compositions. I always seem to struggle when we go out there. I might try limiting myself to my 50mm 1.8 the next time we go there. That may force me to think differently about scenes I've looked at literally hundreds of times. Worth a shot anyway :)

Hi Mike! I'm glad you like my photos. I wasn't sure whatever I like them or not. But they are growing on me. Maybe it was not such a terrible day after all. I had way too much camera gear in my bag. As you said. Limiting yourself to less gear is great for creavtivty. I'll be doing that next time. Maybe. Gah, I never learn! :)

I only have one lens that I use for landscape and that's my Tamron 35-150mm f2-2.8. It's a great lens but I think next time I'll just bring my 50mm and see what I come up. I say that now, we'll have to see if I can actually pull it off lol
Very versitile lens! Why can't there be a 14-600mm lens that is sharp from center to corners. I mean is that to much to ask for!? :)

Visst blir man hemmablind. Jag tycker det är kul när man hittar en annan fotografs bild från ett område man ofta besöker. Det har hänt mer än en gång att man tänker att den kan inte kan vara tagen där ifrån. Finns det tillräckligt mycket detaljer, brukar jag roa mig att leta upp stället där fotografen stod. Ofta får jag erkänna att jag har aldrig sett det motivet fast jag har gått förbi där många gånger. Det är bara att erkänna att man har lite för dålig fantasi. Rätt brännvidd, komposition och ljus så finns det mycket motiv runt omkring. Härligt att se snö. Här i Skåne har vi vatten, väldigt mycket vatten. I helgen blev det en tur kring kävlingeån. Ån har har försvunnit på många ställen och ersatts av ett delta-landskap. Många broar över ån är avstängda. Ska ta bilder från samma ställe när vattnet är normalt igen. Lite före efter bilder.
Väldigt tragiskt för många människor med den där översvämningen. Borde kunna bli en hel del fina foto tillfällen. tänker mig träd som står i vattnet osv. :)
