- Hi and welcome to yet anoter video! This video is all about getting as many spicies of birds on camera, photo or video, as possible in one day. How many do you think I can get? 10? 20? It's spring here in Sweden where I live and some migratory birds have returned. So let's see how many I get! I hope you enjoy this video!

Great video Thomas have myself been out shooting birds with my 400 4.5 and 1.4 converter and met and old friend who is master at bird photography so am picking up a few tips.
Hi Donald and thank you! The 400mm f4.5 is really a great lens. If someone gave me a 400mm f2.8 I would probably sell it. The f4.5 is so light! Easy to handhold. Nice to hear that you enjoy your lens for bird photography! 😀

This is the kind of outing I love to do, so that was a really great video! I enjoyed seeing new species we don't get here in the Pacific Northwest (Washington State, USA) where it is also spring right now. Lots of migration and babies happening! That was a very successful day with lovely locations!

I put it back in the box the other day and I may return it. Nothing wrong with the lens but I think it was the wrong time for me to buy.
I see. Nothing wrong with sending things back. I did it just a few days ago. :) Fist time with a Nikon product. Felt a bit wierd.

Hi what do you think in your experience with the modern camera high megapixel 100 to 400 or 400 MM is enough for bird photography
Hi there! In my opinion 400mm is very good for bird photography. Remember that there is more ways to take photos of birds than just close ups (portraits). It's nice to show more of the environment around the bird. The 100-400 gives a lot of versatility. AND it takes teleconverters. :)
Har du lagt en FN knapp att switcha mellan FX / DX för det där lilla extra reachen när det verkligen behövs?😁
