Go girl... I had an experience of being told by a saleslady " MA'AM MAHAL YAN" when I asked to take a look at a MAC FACE POWDER. This happened in early 90's. Mac then only had their cosmetics in a display cabinet with a padlock. I was wearing a plain shorts, shirt and slippers when I went to SM when this happened. I got pissed off and told the saleslady.. "ATE, NAKIKITA MO BA ANG HIKAW KO. KAYANG BILHIN NG ISANG HIKAW LAHAT NG POWDER DIYAN SA CABINET MO AT IBA PA". Then I left and did a shopping spree. This is the reason why I don't buy Mac cosmetics and never owned one. 😀

$80 when converted to Philippine peso is Php4,800. Only affluent filipinos will spend that much for a bag. Yeah, it could be considered a luxury item. Just saying. ✌️✌️✌️
if that converted of a philppine money worth..well thats definitely a luxury item ..im a bags collection too i have 20+ but even one of my collection is not a worth of 1000pesos..it is worth 200+ but i love it so much because i love bags and im happy to get it.

I make pretty good money here in Tokyo and even I prefer to buy Kate Spade and Charles & Keith stuff. They're luxury enough for me cuz there's no way I would spend any more money on such stuff.

A luxury is high level of quality, exclusivity and high price tags.

In comparison a 80$ bag is a high price tag when you are used to everyone around you owning 10-20$ bags
C&K bags are the best quality faux leather brand bags on the market so they are pretty good too and luxury is not exclusively, exclusivety because I can get gucci bags everywhere but telfa bags are really hard to get your hands on
Still gucci is more expensive and seen as more luxury then telfa even tho telfa is proven to be better quality.
