In this tutorial, we explain how to discretize transfer function models in Simulink and how to export transfer functions from Simulink to MATLAB workspace. We use the Model Discretizer app in Simulink to discretize the continuous time transfer function in Simulink. Then, we use the Model Linearizer app to export the discrete-time transfer function from Simulink to the MATLAB workspace.
