Millwall FC: A club like no other.
I remember back in the 80's Arsenal playing a testimonial at the Den for one of the Millwall backroom staff. It was not a nice atmosphere, in what was a meaningless game to anyone except the chap who benefitted from Arsenal playing there. Arsenal's reward? Sheer bile and hatred from the Lion's fans for no apparent reason.

Nope. In 2011 we lost 2-1 at Upton Park and the entire bottom tier was closed. Only given about 1,500 tickets.
No m8 last time Millwall was at upton park..Wall was put in upper tier with only 1475 tickets available to S.T holders only...👍.🦁🦁🦁🦁

lI am in my 7th decade of attending and hate this sanitized, soulless, (relatively) silent Stadium where we have been for 30 wretched years. Now The OLD DEN was why we broke all existing Home Football League records by going almost 3 seasons in 3 different divisions, unbeaten. 59 games in total while that SAME team lost 22 Away games during that same period from 1964-66. The fans were on ALL 4 sides and right on top of the pitch. and woe betides the Officials if we did not get our regular Penalty or Away Player sent off. Now you could invite the Vicar and his Family....😇

Young Foxes lad refused to take throw in’s & several Leicester players just wanted to get out & go home.
Pitch invasion eventually at F/T & some fun & games with Leicester fans.
There’s plenty of other games too.
Everton at home, Huddersfield in the play offs, West Ham at home.. list goes on.

Millwall away is definitely not all it's crack up to be 😂 especially these days. It's probably one of the safest away grounds to visit, the away end is boxed off and they keep you after the game. Bunch of school kids, giving it large from the upper side stand Is about as fearful as it gets 🤣
But what if the school bully is there and has a catapult, or worse still, a peashooter ? I'll tell my dad on him 😉
Not these days, was pretty hairy 20 years ago though. Birmingham City is still like it tho.
