Well that was sweet. It's familiar, but I can't put my finger on where and when I know it from. First time I've come across the name of the band "FUN". I did notice that there was a '50's feel to it due to the plink, plink, plink of the piano all the way through.

There was another band from the UK by the name of Fun. Well this band wanted to call themselves Fun and when they found out about this other band then this band asked permission to use the name. Fun agreed to let them use the name as long as they made the name different so people would know which one was which. So this band's name is fun. notice the lower case "f" and the "." at the end of the word. This is how this band made the name different. At least that's the story I heard and I'm sticking to it 😎 By the way this is my first comment because I just subscribed to your channel.
Good morning grannies F.U.N was a group that was around for a little while I don’t know if they still make music but they were know for this song and Some Nights you should check out Some Nights It’s pretty good We Are Young I believe was about domestic violence I think
Pretty sure you’re right about the domestic violence aspect to the song. They seem to be out together with friends having fun and feel they have to hide the scars or the real truth of their relationship. Pretty sad when you think about it. Being young is no excuse. It did actually come out in 2012 but we did say we were doing music up through the 2000’s. This was vaguely familiar but pretty unknown to both of us so we enjoyed it. Keep on rocking babies. ✌🏻🎶💖🤟🏻

I always wonder if people know I’m from Minnesota because of my accent and the stuff I say? 😂I don’t think the portrayal of Rose on the Golden Girls helped that.
Love this song. FUN has some good stuff. This is definitely one of their most popular songs (if not the most). I really like their sound but didn’t get into them as much as I could have. Idk. Too much music and too little time. I like a little of everything.
