Another cover from this amazing game! This time, I decided to tackle the iconic Tifa's Theme, but decided not to change too much melodically and instead shifted around some of the harmonies to be jazzy-er! Besides the piano and trumpet, I also added some synths in the background for more chill ambient vibes. This is my entry to this month's /r/PixelMixers contest as well as Soundole's Chill Out 2023 contest!

I love the added harmonies on keys with a slightly syncopated rhythm on the left hand. The solo is play sweet. Doubled trumpet sound so nice. I love how you took the time to add each element throughout the arrangement. This is great.

This might be one of my favourite interpretations of Tifa's Theme I've heard in a while. Love the trumpet, especially the first counter line against the piano - very tasty harmony. Proof a good melody will work, even when stripped to it's most basic elements. Can definitely hear a lot of Miles Davis influence in the trumpet, and the arrangement.

Wonderful work - there are so many cool unique touches here! Those turnaround reharmonisations give extra propulsion to the melody, and I really appreciated your subtle textural synth programming. The real star of the show for me was your solo trumpet work, though - that solo at 2:25 is a masterclass on how to sustain simple gestures with confidence to create profundity!
