Busted Knuckle Off Road Recovery SNOW EDITION

- Every few years we get a nice little snow or more like ice down here in Alabama and it just shuts everything down. As usual we get out in the Jeeps and go play but this time we found ourselves on a mission to recovery people from ditches and ravines and get them back home safe. Follow along as me and the wife go out and recover stranded motorists all over Cullman, Alabama. We do not charge a dime for these people, we are just out trying to help. We also aren't trying to take away from tow companies, they can't keep up with the demand.

You guys make a great team. Your community should be proud and thank you for being so helpful. God bless.
We live in a great community. It was fun getting out and helping everyone we could.
I need to move out there and help ppl out just like your doing...man I love it...keep doing you..
We had a lot of fun
Matt, I just wanted to reach out and thank you for all you have done over the past few days. That 18 wheeler u guys pulled out had been there since 10:30 last night. I was able to get around him but everybody kept getting stuck beside him and that was really the only back road to get to my house. I helped a few folks myself but something in my rear diff blew on my way back from Jasper this morning. THANKS AGAIN BROTHER❗️
No problemo just trying to help where we can
Glad you brought us along, great gesture, I'm sure most of them will be ecstatically thankful, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
We had a lot of fun with it
Proud to be a subscriber and not the least bit surprised by Matt & Family rescuing people.
LOVE the off road community ❤
That used to be the first thing I would do on snowy mornings…go rescue stranded motorist.
Great Job Everyone
It was awesome seeing all the offroad people out helping with recoveries. 👍
Amazing world needs more people like you guy
We had a lot of good people out helping
Danni’s commentary is the best!
Thanks😂😂
She is pretty dang awesome 😬
Awesome job Matt and Danni! Good people for helping all the stranded motorists! 🙌🏼
Just doing our part. We had fun with it
You got a good woman Matt. People don’t realize an off-road legend is helping them get unstuck. Wild.
She is a keeper for sure. Ha most of these people don’t know who I am or even that they drive by our shop every day on the way to work.
I pulled a cop out of the snow once on a king quad. It got me a get out of jail free card with my off-road toys around there.
I pulled a state trooper and an ambulance up the hill the day before
Wow, nice work! That red car was nuts. I’ve been doing the same in my neighborhood but my biggest fear is oncoming traffic when that winch line is strung out across the road.
Yeah it would be good to go out with a crew of 2-3 Jeeps so that you can block off the road while the recovery was happening and have someone drive the stranded vehicle other than the owner lol
I used to help the local fire department pull vehicles out of the ditch when it snowed until a strap broke and the owners sued the fire department for 80k an won. Now I pass by and tell em call a wrecker unfortunately
That stinks. We take extra precaution but yeah anyone can sue nowadays
Good Deeds are punished.
Often times they are but I won’t let that stop us from helping people in need.
Wow! There’s gonna come a day!
Yep, unfortunately people will do this. %99 would be super happy, but it only takes one person to ruin it for everyone
Recovering stranded cars/trucks on ice/snow.....Saving lives/Helping neighbors. Doing it as a Family....Priceless!
We made some good memories
Amazing how he gets traction in that jeep lots of skill!! Cool to see you out here helping others and with your family!
Thanks I was aired down and using the shoulder gravel for traction
@@BustedKnuckleVideo I wondered myself if you’d put in some of them DIY studs, I noticed you straddling the edge and figure that’s what was up. Funny how many people don’t have common sense when it comes to this sort of stuff. Old guy would have died or gotten hurt for some waffles? Cmon man you ought to know better at that age.
some short self tapers in the lugs would work great next time this happens for sure
Awesome of you all!
Least we could do is
Awesome job Matt. Looks like fun!
We had a blast
Great video. I love helping people out in things like this. I like puzzle solving. Looks like you guys got good experience out of it.
We had a blast
That looked eventful.. glad yuns made back home safe and sound..
It was a fun day
Got a hummer here just wishing I had been out there with you. Unfortunately no winch. I was raised in the wrecker business. Countless times I've pulled vehicles out of ditches and ravines in my younger days. Got pulled out a couple times myself.
Winch helps a ton
Thanks for replying keep up the awesome videos with your family
Thanks for watching
That was a great video. Cool to see the vlog style videos.
Thanks we like to do some of these style videos from time to time
Awesome job!!! Use to go around doing that in Indiana when we used to actually get snow. ❄️ 🌨️ That old man doesn't need to be on the road.... Scary stuff. I was oh LAWD he's going to pull them down the haller with him!!!😢
yeah that was the sketchiest recovery of the day for sure
@@BustedKnuckleVideo I was screaming at him to stop too with your wife!!!! Lol 😆😂😂
Yeah that one got us a little heated but it’s all good
@@BustedKnuckleVideo But who knows if you weren't there maybe they would've ended up like that red car at the very bottom! Awesome job again. If America was filled with more people like y'all be a lot better place. Keep it up brother!!! 💪🌮🌮🌮
Thanks we were just doing our part and getting to put our recovery skills from offroading to use was a lot of fun
Greetings God sees what you were doing helping people and you will see your reward from God blessings 🇵🇷✌️🙏
Glad to set an example for others
Best bounty hill video in awhile Matt.
Some folks made it look easy
Good job on the community help hand .
Thanks 👍
Looks like blast I could have fun with that
We had fun with it
Love the snow recoverys they are the best im from nc so we dont get alot unless your in boone or close to va that old man had me worried 😂
We rarely get snow in Alabama it’s usually just ice
@@BustedKnuckleVideo it is crazy yall got it and only part of us got it but its always our mounts then boom the middle of the state dont get nothing but im only 1hr from boone in yadkin county so we normally drive to the snow !
Your good people, very helpful to the public in a time of need.
Community has to come together when stuff like this happens. I’m proud to live in an awesome community
@@BustedKnuckleVideo truth.
I started to contact yall last night. The van pinned by the truck had contacted me about coming from Winfield to get them. I reached out to some in that area because they could get to them faster. I didn't realize there were that many piled up.
Ah yeah everything is all cleared up now
Glad to see that nice jeep out an you helping people that had no business being out in a ice storm
Yeah they needed to stay at home
I would have made fun of like "Americans can't drive in wintertime" - but damn, that was SOLID ICE! 😲
Yeah, on pure ice you don't have a chance. I guess Matt needs to invest in studded 40" tires now. 😁✌️
some short self tappers in the rears would have helped a ton
That had me all tense on the edge of my seat watching like I was in the jeep lol
It was sketch a few times
That Clint Rice guy on the wheeler is pretty shady sneaking up on y'all. 😂😂😂
Dang ol ATV tried to dive down that ravine too
You’re a hero, nice job🙏🏼🇺🇸
We were just out having fun the real heroes were the first responders risking it to make it to all of these wrecks
Wise man once said, "Country boy can survive!" 😂
That’s right
Thanks again man ain’t no telling what that would’ve cost me to get that bronco pulled out.
No problem 👍
Freaking great job helping out others in need.
Thanks we enjoyed it
totally seen yall ride by my house and thought what a badass jeep with the bright some bright ass wheels 😂 never heard of your channel it just randomly popped up but definitely subscribed after seeing yall help the poor idiots in cars trying to drive in this lol keep up the good work
Welcome to the channel!
Saw you guys at the 4 way but didn’t realize it at the time. Good on you for helping out
We had a good time and met a lot of folks
Goodstuff man 😊
Good times, too cold to get the bouncer out. Maybe next time
Beautiful job 👍😜👍😜👍😜👍👌😍😍
Thanks 😬
Loved it, all except for negative comments. Wished they were a lot more people willing to give their time and resources to help another person out. ❤
We had fun with it.
Great job 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Good stuff brother. We are still waiting for the snow here!
We got mostly ice here
@@BustedKnuckleVideo Ice is the worst. Only time ice rocks is with old school runner sleds! ha ha ha
only a matter of time before you get an offroad wrecker of your own!
Already looking at ways to setup the 4 seater for recoveries 😬
love it.
We had a ton of fun
Good on yall! Definitely good karma points for ya!
We had a blast
Driving in snow is one thing but ice changes the game entirely
Facts that western folks don’t understand.
Lmao. 19:00, “i bet shes mad” lol cause we all know theres nothing better when shits hitting the fan than your wife screaming at you. Always helpful
Always helpful 😂
2 words. Tire chains…
Get some for that oh crap moments like these.
Just not very needed around us. We got around great without them.
Great teamwork! How were you able to get traction when others weren't? Were you aired down?
Down to about 6psi and using the shoulder gravel for traction
That hill would have been carnage if you guys weren't there
Would have been a pile of cars at the bottom for sure
Watch out them cullman folks cant drive in dry weather.
True 😂
You all are awesome if you would have blocked the road you could have saved yourselves some work
We had no signs or anything to block the road. It was passable just not for rookies 😬
What state is this located I’m in for the help of getting others out omg I’m so happy that America 🇺🇸 still have some good people around still literally living on this planet 🌎
Alabama
You'd think with people living there in places like this, you'd have AWD or know something of it lol
Yeah because it snows once every 3 years 😂
no snow tires in your state? doesnt look like it
We get snow maybe once every 3 years and this is ice not snow.
All these ppl saying damn...I need a jeep
This one is for sale 😬
U crazy as hell
I've been accused of that a time or two
Do y'all have studded tires or something?
No just aired down and know how to drive
@@BustedKnuckleVideo lol...well, job well done to your whole family!!
thanks we had a blast
Only in Alabama folks. You can't make this up!
Well it’s mostly ice so it’s a little different than the powder out west snow
This is very unusual around here. I live not far away from this scene. Maybe 3 times in my 18 years here has roads been like this... Then only for maybe 2 days at the most.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo I live just north of you in Madison. I was inspired by your video that I went out and pulled a few people out of the ditches. Hahahaha. Made $40 bucks too that I tried to refuse but the dude shoved it in my pocket. Thanks again for sharing your video.
@@aNuthaRedneck Yup. Schools, Redstone, and the cities shut down all week last week. Most closed again today too.
That is awesome, we wound up with about $100 of money we tried to refuse. I did go through a few tanks of Gas in the Jeep so it all worked out.
Probably be best to shut down the road.
Well a lot of people were having no issues. All roads were deemed impassible.
From someone who leaves in northwest Pennsylvania all of these people need to us common sense and not even try to drive on ice covered roads
Yeah curiosity got the best of most
Where’s the snow ?
Well it’s mostly ice
Why don't you block off the road?
Because there were people that knew how to drive that were making it through just fine
Snow is easy to drive on......Ice is not
Facts
People should know better than to drive on an icy hill.
Yeah it’s just not typical for where we live
Some people don't have brains for nothing and why are they out in it anyway especially older people
people do dumb things, good thing people like us are out and willing to pull rescue duty
This is the perfect example of cognitive dissonance, the majority of people in America have zero survival skills whatsoever, glad you got to get out and have some fun 😂
some people just can't help but get into bad situations
@@BustedKnuckleVideo very well spoken
I’m in Alaska, people move up here from wherever couple winters “gone”. ! Buhbye
i have heard of how brutal those winters can be
Busted knuckle to the rescue. Sick video - could watch that shit all day. Some oeople eh?
Hey we have all been on that end of a winch/tow strap so I don’t mind helping when people do soemthing dumb.
@@BustedKnuckleVideo Definitely! It's awesome you and the family were out there helping get em' back going. Appreciate the content.
We figured it would be good to share. Not for the credit but just to encourage others.
