Running full stage at DirtFish Rally School in 2012

- This is an old video from 2012 of me driving a full rally stage on mixed surface at DirtFish Rally School in Snoqualmie, WA at the end of my 3-day class. I will be releasing a new video tomorrow of me doing the same thing in a Subaru BRZ just a few weeks ago with CZcamsr JayzTwoCents. I was driving a fully rally prepped group N 2011 Subaru WRX STI with 300hp and AWD with Grippa rally tires in this video.

I'm editing the latest DirtFish Rally video of me doing the BRZ RWD class with JayzTwoCents a few months ago, it should be up tomorrow or on the 2nd. I figured I would upload this as a little teaser so you guys can see the stuff I was already doing years ago so it makes more sense how I was better than Jay in the BRZ's when he had never done it before. The camera doesn't look very fast but this was a very fast lap. Also, what do you guys think of that super old intro, I remember doing that in 3DSMAX.
- First half of the video my co-driver/instructor is Don Wooten who is one of the most amazing rally instructors ever and dominates at auto-x
- Final run at end of the video (fastest) my co-driver was Lee Clark who was the president of DirtFish at the time and also a race car driver for Porsche and Audi.
I can't describe how much of an amazing experience it is to go to this school, it's expensive but it's worth it and the memories stick with you forever and the best part is you leave the school on day 3 feeling like you're 10x more comfortable behind your own wheel and don't get as easily excited when driving fast because you're relaxed and prepared.

Yes I made it to the end. Coming from a autocross background of course I did. Good to change up instructors. Gets you to push yourself out of your comfort zone. Great work on the course Jerry. Personal confidence on and off the course is the key, if you get my meaning great youtube friend.

That was badass and I'm impressed. I can actually drive like that. I haven't don it in over 8 years and if I could make it up there I would definitely stop by Dirtfish. That last run was almost textbook perfect. The one question I have is about the display on the passenger side. I can tell that it's some sort of telemetry but my screen is too small to see it clearly. What is that exactly and what all is displayed there?

The pendulum movement you are doing Jerry, isn't it the same thing as the Scandinavian Flick? In essence, you are upsetting the balance of the car, very briefly, but enough to let the car's forward momentum swing around a corner, correct? It is also very similar to drifting, if I'm not mistaken, typically used in an under powered car (AE86, for example) to get the car to rotate. Then you braking and throttle take over to control the car through the turn (drift). Is that about right Jerry?

with simulator games like dirt 3, would you consider playing dirt rally, that game seems to be more realistic than previous dirt games by codemasters
