I have the i230s and although I love the look of the new blueprint s, I saw one and they are definitely still on the small side. Not sure if it’s worth it to switch so I’ll probably stick with the i230s. Had you really found the blueprint was really a step above I could be swayed but I think I’ll stay put for now. I think Ping made a mistake with the i230 making it smaller. A Tour player would prefer the Blueprint S, and the i230 lost its ‘universal iron’ status going much smaller in the longer irons compared to the i210. I hope the i240 is more like the i210 than the i230 now that the Blueprint S is around and already proven on tour.
Yeah I know what you mean, you would have thought that Ping would have consulted the Tour players when designing the i230 as the i210 were pretty widely used on Tour previously. Maybe they did and the Tour players were okay with it, I don't know. But I personally think the Blueprint S look more of a Tour players club now than the i230 does, mainly the fact it's a bit smaller. Still very impressive the i230 though, great feel considering it's not forged.
I think they can play about with it but I think its more for matching up the overall club swing weight with different shafts/lengths etc. to my knowledge they can't change it to be fade or draw biased.
They are both really good irons pitched at the 8 handicap club golfer range....the Blueprint S iron is too chunky in the sole and way too much offset in the longer irons. Blueprint T all the way for me and marry them with the S159 wedges... equals perfect golf bag
I feel that your current gamer - Wilson D9 Forged - is as good or better than either of these. May be a case of the grass in greener on the other side...
Yes, I want a change, I want something smaller and more tourey. Looks are a major priority for me this year, I'll give up some performance but I don't want to lose too much, the search goes on.

I realize the blueprint s is smaller in general but imo the i230 looks better. More classic look to the back badge. The s looks more techie to me.
Yeah, I'm starting to wonder whether I shouldn't bother commenting on looks as its just such a question of personal taste.

I think if anything, extra weight in the toe would do the opposite and help fade the ball more.

Yes, you must be good, that's a precision set of sticks you've married up there. Apparently quite a few Ping Tour Pros are opting for the Blueprint S.
