In this video garlic is shown but it is referred as onion. So it is not understood as to whether it is garlic or onion..

Others use onions, they work the same, if one is not available you can use one instead of another

@@rondlebreeden4175 I bet I have a food forest and garden that would destroy yours keyboard warrior. Started with zero on our 33 acres. Spent almost no money in a drought area. Now have around 400 bananas palms. Some close to 20 feet high. Every imaginable citrus, producing regularly. Apples, nectarines, pears, jack fruit, just over half an acre of grapes, countless mangoes ( tried one of this CZcamsrs crap idea of grafting on the branch . Fail) but I have better methods because I’m a gd learner. Have star fruit, coffee trees, Jabotocabas , South American Cherrie, raspberries, , passion fruit everywhere, sugar cane in abundance, Numerous mulberries, Sapotees , black and white. This is just the tip of the iceberg, not counting literally thousands of nitrogen fixers and mulch providers like ice cream bean trees, Pigeon peas , QLD arrowroot. Plus all the herbs and annuals. You are probably in a city apartment, with 20 pathetic things growing. We have so much abundance we chuck it to our geese or chickens or pigs or our pumpkins often to our cattle.
