Grubs new mask was painted by Tulalip Tribal member Ty Juvinel so they’re also supporting local indigenous art love to see that from the organization
The team’s reticence to pass the puck east west, really in any zone, unless it’s a pass that’s almost impossible to pick off is very frustrating.
I don’t know if this is coached system, lack of confidence or some combination of both but like .. c’mon you have to take SOME chances with the puck, especially in the offensive zone. This hesitancy extending even to the power play is kind of blowing my mind.
I understand The Philosophy of how the Kraken are built and how this strategy is meant the complement the player’s supposed skill sets but am increasingly convinced that the experiment just isn’t working, and that some of the success last year was due to some important deviations or at least flexibility in the strategy.
I hit the like button, but it's for the casters, not the content...
Porclean André Burakovsky can soon be called a bust for that mere 27 million.
I know it's not what a lot of us want to hear, but this isn't the team to push for the playoffs. They are still in its "build" mode. We need to have the same expectations as if this was a team like San Jose, Anaheim, or Arizona, who are still a few years out from being in their prime. Patience is going to be key if you want to keep your hair intact 😂
They probably have a greater chance at getting the #1 pick than making the playoffs at this point. Time to play the kids. If Hakstol won’t or can’t he’s got to go. Move out the pending UFAs, make space for the kids. Coincidentally, the team can market the youth. Better than the 10% chance to scrape into a WC spot, anyway
Disagree…calling up Shane Wright is the easiest change to make.
