I think the saddest part about wolves rain is... Well, it's stupid, but.
Tsume dies alone. Look at every one else; they go to paradise with them, or seen afterwards. Blue has Hige, Tobue the Old guy, Kiba with Cheza and even the human couple died soon, one after another...
But Tsume is alone.

I found wolf rain's ending quite sad. I mean Kiba watched -or pretty much watched- them all of his friends die in front of him. I know they're still alive in paradise but still...
@lizarder they did go to paradise the wolves went to heaven basically and there human forms lived on as if they descended from wolves which was said through out the series many times.
