I am a real world Airbus pilot with thousands of hours flying the real aircraft and thought it would be fun to have a look at the new detailed simulation of the longest baby 'bus by Toliss as well as the new MSFS a320 NEO. Hopefully you find this useful and it brings another perspective to your simulation. Any thoughts or comments are welcome!

Oh man! Seeing that livery and hearing those noises brings back so many memories. Used to ride on Trans Maldivian quite a lot when I was younger. Got me into planes, cause the open view into the cockpit got me so curious as a child. Can't wait for it to come out!
why... you cant even use all the buttons man lol
It's about time! We build these now here in Victoria BC. Amazing.
This is the aircraft I have been waiting for since release!
One of my all time favourite aircraft having spent about ten years working on a survey aircraft not dissimilar to the modelled British Antarctic Survey aircraft. A big thank you for previewing the Twin Otter for us. I’ve been eagerly waiting for this one in MSFS 👍
Not long to wait now Ed! Thanks for watching
Been waiting a while for this one, looking forward to hopping between st just and the isles of Scilly with it!
8Q-TMJ, i flew the actual aircraft 7 to 8 years ago in.. cannot wait to fly this again in flight sim, exciting news!
Nicely done! Especially the variants showcase makes you think of all the possible fun things to have with this aircraft.
Thanks Janne, glad you liked the showcase!
I have flown on the actual 8Q-TMJ many times! The details are amazing. Love it! 😍
Fantastic! Great to hear it is pretty accurate!
I like this plane but what I like the most is your b-rolls cinematic style. Congratulations on that! Not many channels out there do it this way when reviewing airplanes.
Thanks so much, it means a lot. I love capturing some views and replays so it's great to hear you also enjoy them!
Been waiting for this! I'll have to jump into X Plane and refamiliarize myself with the Twotter before this releases!
That was an enjoyable way to pass a half hour !
This looks great. It'll be fun to do some island hopping with this thing. Hopefully Southern Africa get's to be a focus of a World Update some time soon, will be nice to take it around the big game parks and such.
Looks incredible! 😍
Great review and content! Liked and subbed! 😃
Aerosoft are really delivering, fantastic work by them recently.
Finally, really like the look of this! Will you be doing a similar video for the F35?
This is going to be a firm purchase for me!
Very nice review. Looking forward to getting it.
Thanks for watching!
A very enjoyable video 320, thanks as ever!
Glad you enjoyed it Haden! Thanks as ever
@@320SimPilot watching the vid a second time now lol 😀
thanks for the video! :)
You are very welcome as always!
Hi, have you done a video on the A320 engine start up on push back, I've watched your video on start up from cold & dark which is excellent, hopefully you have but can't seem to find it. Keep up the good work as your videos are excellent especially for a novice like me
Hello, im from the Maldives and i have to say that i absolutely love your content and pls keep up the great work.
One request of mine is if you.could make a detailed comparison between the latest update of the fwb a320nx and the fenix a320
Great preview! Can you retract the wheels on the Amphibian version? I ask because, so far, every Asobo Amphibian has gear fixed down. You can operate the gear handle, get a sound, but the gear stays locked down in external view! I agree with you on the water physics!
Good video mate just the trick how to keep er still as one goes through the start up procedure
Great aircraft for MSFS2020, owned it for P3D and it great fun to fly. It's a shame they wont support the PMS50 GTN750, really unbelievable.
Absolutely loved this aircraft for P3D. Pretty frustrating at the beginning because engine likes to overheat. Can't wait to have it for MSFS 🙏🏼
Hi @320SimPilot
I really apprentice your hard work and dedication that goes into each and every one of your videos. I have been watching them all and learning boatloads of information from them. So thank you. I would also like to say the RNAV approach tutorial you made about a year ago no longer works with the new flybywire update. Approach mode does not turn on and you cannot capture the glide path. I would really appreciate an updated video on RNAV when you have the time (:
Unless you did and I missed the video, let me know. Cheers!
You are very welcome, thanks for the message! I believe VNAV is in the works, so hopefully we will have the full RNAV abilities. When that happens I will make a new video to cover it!
Have flown in a single (irl), but never a twin Otter. Nice addition.
Just want to commend Aerosoft for properly utilizing the MSFS checklist system. That’s a very important feature.
fantastic detailed review. big fan of the twin otter here, i’m just hoping they bring a fix to the rapid bouncy effect in floatplanes while taking off and landing
Agreed!
That's a funny looking and sounding A320. Hehehe...
I'll admit I haven't really considered grabbing this until recently. I'm looking for a new plane for Caribbean island hopping.
Hi new to flying and need help setting up , have x56 joysticks , and running on a I7 5ghz 32 gig ram with a rtx3060 8gb with 3 x 4K monitors , but when I select tripple monitors the sides are out need help . Regards
Fly it around the Vancouver and Vancouver island area with Westcoast Air of Harbour Air
I love the Playmobil like livery.
Best review ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Glad you liked it!
Great review. Textures and systems look nicely done, overall appears to be a promising module. Just a note - the propellers on the engines appear to be in the fine pitch i.e unfeathered, whereas on a PT6 usually when the engine shuts down they are feathered. In the cockpit, during the start you move them from feather to unfeather which is correct.
On floats the prop is often set to zero thrust when shut down instead of feather.
@@philipolson1965 Thats good to know. Is there something that holds the props in that position because per my understanding, on shutdown the oil leaves the hub, allowing the props to move to feather - no matter what the position of the levers is.
@@foxone9065 yeah it will normally feather, but they install latches on the blades for the propellers on the float twin otters. I work on primarily Twin Otters and King Airs as an AME. I love the realistic details of this one.
@@philipolson1965 Thats good to know! Absolutely, they have put in the effort clearly.
I’m having a problem on my mfs on my Xbox where the buy and download tab in marketplace is greyed out can someone help me resolve this issue plz
Unless I missed it you didn't set the Rudder Trim for Take Off, as the props are both spinning the same direction theres a dose of right trim to counteract that on takeoff, indicated by a mark on the dial
EDIT obviously not as much a concern on a water take off :D
What do you use to get such good recordings of the game? I want to watch some replays of my own landings to make corrections :D
I'am not usually propeller plane fan but this looks very nice 😀
Thanks for watching!
Very excited for the Twotter! Thanks for this preview
Being from the Maldives though the scenery is awful, half the islands or more (and definitely the majority of reefs) are entirely missing, perhaps Aerosoft should make a scenery to accompany this :)
ORBX made Maldives scenery for FSX and I would hope they do it again for MSFS2020.
@@MegaPeedee Oh interesting! I really hope they do.
Hoping for a sky-diving mod now! :)
Do all the liveries include the registration, or can we use custom callsigns?
In your opinion, which is better? The Kodiak or the Otter? Just subjectively. I understand the Otter is in beta. Just wondering.
18:47 O_O wow
Noob question . Can someone please tell me how he walks around the cabin ? What are the hit keys ? It looks Soo smooth !!! Please help
arrow keys for me
I am waiting like crazy for Fenix A320
Sadly its not even in beta yet. Late 2022 at best. I'm looking for the Maddog X MD-80 or PMDG 737
@@fsx-legend4602 I agree dude. But this when it comes out will be something completely different
Can we get the beta? I can’t find it on their website!
As much as I like the Kodiak, having already owned it in Xplane, I wish I waited for the twin otter instead.
The Kodiak also looks fantastic, plenty of Bush flying opportunities
with either!
Having the throttle mounted to the ceiling is bizzare. I'd probably have a tough time getting used to that if I ever flew that IRL.
It's something I have never tried either, I wonder how comfortable it is!
@@320SimPilot Judging by the looks, it seems sturdy enough just to be able to hang onto it with a limp arm, like a subway handle. It might be fairly comfortable if you aren't putting effort into keeping your arm raised.
In all the pictures of this aircraft with the engines off, the propellers aren't true to reality (Ie; they should be feathered not flat). The P&WC PT-6A engine is what is called a "free turbine" this fact along with the design of the gearbox means that the whenever the engines are not running, regardless of the propeller control position, the props will be feathered (opposite of what we see happening in all the videos).
If you or anyone on here are in touch with Aerosoft, please mention this as it is a shame that something made with so much effort to be realistic has such an obvious fault to anyone familiar with it (and all other PT6 engined aircraft such as King Airs). Thanks for the great review videos.
FS2020 needs a Dash-8 or ATR72
When the sim sdk further matures.
Great review video! I love this airplane, but am not sure if I can see past those prop animations. Something about the props just looks cheesy.
Thanks, glad you liked it! As this is a work in progress we may see these improve!
Hi what Maldives scenery are you using ?
Hi I used this pack: flightsim.to/file/18540/maldives-pack-by-0235
Thank you how did you get you’re sea to look so good what graphics setting do you have it on ?
Having more or less nil experience in FS, but 10.000 hours on DGC-6/300 (WF). Great images!
BUT! Although my english is rated above average, listening to the comments could make anyone listening in and not having above average english skills, despa(i)rate. Why is it almost impossible for english speaking people to modulate their "talk", so those non-english listeners could possibly understand what's being said? It's so easy but require thinking and effort....and a keen interest in having as many understand as possible!
I'll leave the technical details to the professionals in FS! 😊
Is this for Xbox and how much is it for I'm British so who ever knows try and telll me in pounds
I believe it will be out for X-box, dunno the price though
It should be coming to Xbox but will likely only arrive on the sim marketplace a few weeks later (due to the currently slow marketplace approval process). On Aerosoft's website it will be €29.95+VAT (so around £30.00), so expect a similar price on the marketplace too.
price is 30 euro (plus VAT when applicable), price in pounds depends on your bank
And yes, it is very much intended for use on Xbox.
It's really too bad that MSFS's water so sucks...too bad this bird won't be for P3D! Now THAT'S water to land on....
