This video was long overdue!
GREAT FIRST 5 MINS ALREADY!!
I absolutely loved it! The frustration-to-elegance ratio of the matchstick math puzzle was incredible. That one drove me nuts (in a good way)!
Bro it still felt short for me.. I was having soo much fun
I thought, Chris, your solution would be the V + II - III = IIII, moving one match from the plus sign. :)
Eventhough I've seen and knew all those tricks from watching Scam School, it was cool to see you two together. It would be cool to see you do more collabs maybe in the future or maybe you recorded more than one video while doing this...
What a blast!
It was awesome to see you 2 (3) together. Hopefully it will happen more often in the future!
couldn't the 1+2+3=4 puzzle turn into 1+2+2=5
@@GoodAwsomeWrestling I thought the same thing but he cleared stated that everything past the = was locked in place.
@@chaossdragon Everything PAST the equal sign, yes. So I went with 1+1+3≠ 4. He was right about having to be careful with language in this trick...
What year is this? How old am I? That was a blast from the past!!!! Really glad you sill have the same enthousiasm!
I felt so lucky to be there for this. LOVE IT!
Love you Wes. Be cool.
Dude, it was SUCH a blast!
I met Brian about 3-4 years ago when he was on tour, and he is really just such a great guy! So glad to see you collab with him!
you blew his cover when you called him a millionaire lol
5:30 - the phosphorus (red btw) is on the side of the box. The stuff on the matches is potassium chlorate, antimony sulfide, fillers, and, most importantly for the match and probably worst for you, glass shavings. They USED to contain white phosphorus, but that was removed in the early 1900s as it used to remove jaws.
good catch! -BB
So how unhealthy is that to do?
@@enzomarscheck7864 I'm unsure how much of what gets where, so I can't be sure, but glass tends to be sharp....
"As it used to remove jaws" is probably the most horrifying phrase I've ever read. 😂😂😬
A collab I didn’t even knew I needed! Brian was a big part of my childhood, watched a lot of Scam School video to learn magic and seeing you with him was amazing.
I’m so happy this finally got to happen, the world needs more Brian and Chris projects!
The look on Chris's face while you're describing the Human Jack o Lantern is priceless!
I did the final trick differently, I took the horizontal match off the last + and made a V with it on the first match 5 + 2 - 3 = 4. Loved the first smoke trick, gonna have to try that one :)
Hahaha, yeah! This is the route I took, too. Nice.
It's been years since I watched Brian Brushwood teach this trick, and I completely forgot about it. He's like magic encyclopedia.
Fantastic. Love this collab! Hope to see you again soon Brian!
This is just amazing! I love all three of you and watching you learn something from Brian is mesmerizing. And having followed Brian so long, knowing as he sets up a trick (right now the mirror me one) what is going to happen before we even get there, chef's kiss.
It's like watching a great movie with a friend, that has a twist or a surprise, when you've seen and your friend hasn't
Been watching Brian since the BBliveshow on Tuesday nights. This is such a good collab!
What threw off Brian with the glass measurement is that a typical pint glass from a bar will be much wider at the top than the bottom, while the glasses Chris provided were near perfect cylinders. That extra width at the top of a pint glass lets you stack it so tall it's insane. Learned this from Scam School a lifetime ago. Great video!
I’m 20 now, I remember watching the match trick on scam school when I was about 14 or so I stopped watching the content as I got a bit older and stopped doing the tricks i learnt but seeing this reaction from Chris and the joy that came out of his face knowing I had the exact same reaction when I did the trick myself, just pure wonderment, takes me back :)
Great video and great collab! Looking forward to hopefully another in the future.
I'm SO glad this collab finally took place! But man...I'm kinda bummed that more people will know about this! I've been using Shwood's "human chimney" from Scam School for SO long. I'm also glad that a whole new group of people will get something new for them to trip people out. The energy and vibe in this video is fantastic!
Thanks guys! I really hay a good time feeling I was there hanging out with you! You are awesome
I watched scam school for absolutely ages, and these are some of favourite tricks. I've even had fun doing these in the wild!
Keep up the good work!
When being complemented on how well you do something, I'm definitely going to use that response of, "it's a little trick I call, 'getting old'" (with a smile and a chuckle)
I haven't seen Brian in years! I used to love watching his old bar trick videos on Scam School. His hair is looking much better these days! Haha Love the collab!
This such a great video. I love the collaboration. Scam School was my first introduction into how to learn magic. I started learning magic in college with the Scam School episode called "The Trick That Fooled Einstein." 13 years later and now I am performing magic part time in Chicago.
Again, I love this video. 🙂
Awesome, been waiting for this collab for a long time!!
I was a big fan of Scam School back in the gell spike hair days, and watched more vids than I can honestly remember. Great to see him on the channel. I very nearly bought the Rogue's Ring (a ring with a bunch of mnemonic symbols around it to remember a half-hour show's worth of tricks and containing a handcuff shim inside it. )
This needs to happen a lot more! Love this collab
So happy to see this collab! More Brian and Chris stuff would be awesome!
Yes! Been waiting for this collab for so long! Loved this! Cheers guys!
Love (both) your videos. And not only because of the content, but because you seem like genuinely nice people. 😊
I watch both of yall and seeing both do a video is crazy! I've been watching both for years!
Loved the first 2 effects. Thank you for sharing with us.
I've been waiting for this Collab for so long you guys are both amazing creators and people.
Such a great compliment to call him "the most generous teacher" of magic and the first to do it. The old scam school were the first thing I saw with the crazy spike hair.
Yes!!! The Ramsay and the Brushwood Colab!!!
Gold and its been long overdue!!!
OMG IT FINALLY HAPPENED! I’ve been wanting a Brian and Chris Collab since ages. I know you guys have met before but I’ve always waited for a full video with just both you guys!!
I had a different solution to that last puzzle. If you move the vertical match from last plus and place it at an angle next to the first 1, it makes a roman numeral V (5) and you have V+II-III=IIII (5+2-3=4). Sure, I know the V may end up a little crooked and IIII isn’t the roman numeral for 4, but hey, I thought it was a clever solution! Another option (if it’s ok to move the equal sign) would be to turn the top part to make the equal become greater than (>).
So crazy! Enjoyed learning these bar bets! Nice video!
Great video! Love the simple yet mind puzzling tricks 🪄
This made my day! Such a nice surprise after a long shift at work. I hope to see more of you guys together...maybe a Chris Ramsay appearance on scam school or MR? Thanks for everything guys!
I remember you suggesting a collab with Brian YEARS ago! So glad it finally happened, this was an amzing video. Well done Chris and Brian... and wes ;)
I love Brian. Scam school was what got me into magic and riddles and bar challenges. You guys have to do more videos together.
Thanks Chris for sharing your fame with someone who deserves more.
lmao
wholesomeroast
This is the collab I’ve been waiting for! I used to watch Scam School forever ago! Love these guys!
I have been patiently waiting for this to happen, I really really want to see more with Brian, it's so cool you guys got to do a video together!!!
Holy shit, I never thought this day would come! I've been following both you and Brian/Scam School for so many years now and it somehow never occurred to me that you two should meet! This is so awesome! :D
This episode has made me so happy!!!
What a joy to see Chris and Brian together!!
Those were so fascinating and fun! And I love that Wes was there to bug out with you two, ha!
I figured out the coin and match puzzles right away because I've seen a lot of similar puzzles before but those match tricks were awesome
what an amazing guy… just giving out some neat tricks this is awesome haha on my way to buy some matchbooks
I have been watching Scam School since I was in middle school, and these stunts/puzzles bring back great memories!
This video was so amazing seeing both you together
Dangerous stunts are some of the best ones. So Glad you and Brian finally did a Collab!
Amazing video! So glad to see y’all together doing a video!
THANKKKKKK YOU, I love all 3 of you guys, you're all amazing! I LOVEEDDD this video, and hope you guys can do more at some point.
I love watching anything like this because I suck at jokes, I will screw them up from the first word I tell you lol so if I see something like this I can practice it and then the next time I go out to dinner with my entire family I can get them and get them good! Thank you so much for sharing, it was a pleasure.
This video is pure gold! So glad Brian came by!
Been waiting for you two to get together for a long time! You are both awesome!
The look of pure bliss on everyone's faces is priceless
23:20 that match puzzle is pretty nice because you can some up with solution to move just one stick and get 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6. Simply by changing the amount of sticks on the right side you can make more similar puzzles. And if you accept roman numerals, you can get way more options too with creative use of value V and minus sign.
I love when my favorite youtubers collab on a video. I've been waiting for this!!!
Thank you for that entertaining / funny lesson
Brian has been one of the first people I subbed to way back when it was called scam school great to see this collab!
Absolutely amazing vid!!
Loved this video Brian used some of my favorites from scam school
I've watched scam school for years. So great to see this collab.
I have never thought about ending the Human Jackolantern with putting the match out on the tongue. Glad I watched, even after having seen these on scam school, it's great to learn how to remix them.
I love Brian!!! Such a great collab!!!! I met him when he was on tour in Albany, super nice dude
Nice to see credit where credit is due. Love video. Big fans of both of you.
Thank you so much 😀
I've been following Brian Brush wood's content since early Scam School and I LOVE this. Magic meets mystery. Stay Rogue bro.
That was awesome!!!!! I’ve been watching Brian for years, he’s the uncle we all wished we had.
SOOOO happy you and Brian collabed!!!!
Awesome video guys. Been a viewer of Brian's over a decade and a half, watching Chris for at least 8 years I'm guessing... I'm new to Wes compared, but happy to see him and looking forward to what else he does un the future. Great video gentlemen!
I think what Brian does so well isn't so much the magic (the tricks he uses are quite simple), but rather he's a true wizard of social engineering.
This was awesome! Love both you guys.
So awesome to see Brian on here. One of my favorite vids of yours
Man, I've been waiting for this collab since day one. The closest we got was you running into him at a magic convention a few years ago. What a tease
Brian is awesome. Met him several years back at Nerdtacular. Enjoyed the video.
What a well spoken and intelligent gentlemen! He was a pleasure to listen to.
I should probably write this in to Brian directly, I think he'd love it. But whatever, here I go.
I found this match puzzle in a professor layton game and I think if you turn the rules of it, it would make for a great bar bet.
Set up the matches to make the equation: I+XI=X (1+11=10)
Now the goal is to make this equation true by moving as few matches as possible. And here's my bet: Whatever you can come up with, I bet I can solve this with less moves.
After a short moment they will likely find that it can be solved by only moving one match and think that there is no way that you can solve it in less moves than one. But this equation is solveable in 0 moves, if you look at it from the other side. X=IX+I (10=9+1)
This probably has to be the most deceptive puzzle ever.
I found a different solution for the puzzle at 21:18 -
Move the vertical part of the second + to make a V from the first 1, so it reads V+II-III=IIII, or 5+2-3=4
I was gonna say this took waaaay too long. Brian is a legend in his own right
I'm happy I saved this to a moment when I can enjoy it.
I remember the first trick as I bought the how to many years ago and that it was pulled as possibly being unsafe. However it's still one of the coolest tricks for sure
My 2 favorite magic men together? Woo!
Also "buying" Brian the non-alcoholic beer was such a scam school thing to do
I've been a fan of both of you for so many years, so happy to see this colab
what a mash-up. ScamSchool was such a huge channel for me back in the day with Brian and his crazy hair. And I love Chris, Wes and the guys. Would love if Brian is in a BOB
Maan I missed him .. And whaat an OP way to see him back!!
Most of these were ones I've seen before having followed Scam School/Scam Nation for years; however, seeing a team-up of three of my fav magicky CZcamsrs all at once was AWESOME!
Puzzle boxes, Brian put that in so even if you don't find on you still go to his store, and you may buy something else. Brilliant.
Really enjoyed this video! Thanks so much guys!!
Great video, thoroughly entertained and informed. One of those strange coincidences, about an hour before watching the video my wife was lighting a candle and I noticed a fine stream of ‘smoke’ emanating from her mouth and nose. I even commented on it to her and then I see the principle and magic application. It just blew me away. Thanks again for all you much appreciated videos.
Wild! -BB
LOve this Video....it feels like im there with u guys ^^ just awesome!
Wow! What a great collab. Brian is a legend. Thanks for it. 😍
saw the coin solution at 18:06. you were two moves away and I was so frustrated at the beginning with the rules, but it is wild how it is done. i like it
Thanks for helping me find my new career path Chris! This will def be a great start to my journey :)
Need more awesome stuff like this! Old school videos
There is even a second solution for the match trick:
Initial situation:
I + II + III = IIII
Second solution:
Take the vertical match from the second plus and put it to the two, so that it results in a roman 6 (VI or \II )
This results in:
I + \II - III = IIII
Chris was on the right track with his thoughts after all! :)
Best regards from Germany! Love your content! 💪🏽
Apparently you and I were both on the same track! I made the equation V + II - III = IIII. Great minds!
Oh nice, like That!
1+1+3≠ 4
This is a colab that I never even thought off, but holy shoot do I love it!
Gotta add “no googling” to that last one, I couldn’t guess it. Great video love ya both!!!
Love both the channels 👍
Absolutely jealous you got to meet brushwood. Great video and have been watching both of you for a long time.
