What struck me funny at first about the “fajitas” in the note is that Arkham Asylum residents (at least in some of the comics I read) love their Taco Tuesday’s and the joker has actually stopped escape attempts because he realized it’s a Tuesday and doesn’t want to miss the dinner haha
Is that what it was referencing? Wow. That's gotta be a deep-cut DC reference. They really did their homework!
@@logandemar8208 Not sure we need the religious messaging, but thanks for the gesture! :)
Two-Face, of course, does NOT approve.
@@logandemar8208 I’m not religious at all. But I appreciate the kind words.
That was a nice touch from them. Thanks for sharing this easter egg ❤️
They should definitely make a Riddler-themed one, that would make a lot of sense, with it being puzzles and all :) overall, really neat puzzle! *edit* lol looks like they just made one yay!
You're using logic, Joker doesn't do logic.
But no yeah, I agree.
Yeah that makes 100% more sense. They just used the joker because it's more socially liked... Damn that'd be so fucking cool too
Riddlers riddle box brought to you by Jim Carrey imagine :D
Riddler working in co with him could make sense but who knows
This would only make sense if there was a joker gas bomb inside
My brain: "Hey you should probably go to bed"
Me: Nah I gotta watch this 30 minute video of Chris trying to open a Joker box.
Legit what I just went through 🤣
Bro are you reading my mind as well?
I did the same thing 😅
no really, though it’s 12:30
stop yelling at me
For some out of the loop, there's a recent comic book called "The Joker Presents - A Puzzlebox". I haven't read the whole story yet but the tagline is "Who killed the Riddler?". In that very story it's surmised that Joker killed him, hence the "Puzzlebox" and Joker using his gimmick. I'd imagine this may have been a nod to that story. It seems a lot of people here in the comment section must be unaware of this story given the sentiment I've seen. Nevertheless, for those unaware, that's probably the inspiration/nod/reference.
Oh... Well that explains a lot.
Thanks. This helps.
Moodyblooz_92
The end tells you what it’s referring to. Infinite Rabbit Holes has an Arkham Asylum game and this puzzle was a promotion.
I was very surprised at how good this was. Not super difficult but extremely entertaining.
It's the Joker not the Riddler, the Joker is entertaining while the Riddler is confusing with his puzzles, the Joker came to entertain Chris Ramsay, not confuse
@@kaizurgranger571 when
@@kaizurgranger571 so what you are saying is we need a riddler to come and confuse chris (the batman)?
Amen in Christ God Bless everyone 🙏 and you have a safe in Christ happy Halloween
@@kaizurgranger571Don’t overthink it
"This box is literally mocking me." Best line ever, and so appropriate for the Joker!
That phone in the cake was the most surreal puzzle prize I've ever seen! I''m genuinely intrigued by this one.
I thought that the phone was the prize for solving the puzzle...
Very prision-thing - esque, if you think about it
I looked at this creators other videos and it looks like he's using the same phone with the same case in an earlier video. I'm pretty sure he is the creator of the puzzle and it's just to promote the AR Batman game at the website listed at the end. He says there's strawberries in the cake, you can't just ship strawberries unrefrigerated in a puzzle box. And how did the phone know when to start ringing? How would a puzzle box maker ensure that the phone was still charged and on when the puzzle was solved. Why is there no link to the puzzle box? It's all a setup. A cool setup, but a setup nonetheless.
@@DanielCrist They probably set the thing up there with the team watching at the side. So when he opened the box they just called the number
@@DanielCristthanks, I couldn’t have been the only one to see that!
He makes it look so easy, cause he does so many puzzles lol the drawer label with shapes and converting it to letters then using Corresponding numbers to those letters and then figuring out the clicks was freaking incredible to me (who doesn’t do puzzles) and me knowing I’d never get past that part. lol
I've seen a lot of crazy good puzzles on this channel but this one really takes the cake.
ha i see what you did there and i appreciate it
boooooooo
Ha. Ha.
hmm, this one seems to give a cake... XD
Nice, I see what you did there
This is one of the coolest puzzles I've seen in a long time.
🤣 side 'B' started and it immediately reminded me of both, the sounds that Wonka's '3-meal edibles' machine made, as well as when the group went through the Wonka-mobile wash, in Gene Wilder Chocolate Factory.
ABSOLUTELY captivated at the amount of devices, techniques, features & toys-made-tools from our 60's-90's childhoods!
What a treat to view, witness someone else's joy vicariously, and to know designers still go to these lengths to create such an experience.
Or the music machine!
Can't remember what it was from, looking it up now, v
Honestly, the cassette made me think of Celeste
Just be glad that the cake wasn't full of Joker Venom or some other toxin.
“I don’t know how this got through customs.”
Customs: what’s this? Looks odd. It says….. “to Chris Ramsay,” ahhh ship it.
@Latest Obsession 🤣🤣
A---z-
Who ever did the voice acting for the joker absolutely smashed it. Such a cool puzzle
Sounded more like the Mad Hatter than the Joker, to me.
The voice had a Cesar Romero feel to it, and for those of u who have no clue who that is. He played the joker in the 60's Batman TV show
Sounded like Pennywise trying to mimic the Joker.
@@MrFnrights thats what I was thinking
@@FlynnAlek Same lmao. Still a cool puzzle though.
Cool puzzle box . It’s amazing how you get the tiny details and just quickly move on when something doesn’t work . Seeing a pro at work is really entertaining 👏👏👏
People in the comments saying it should’ve been a riddler theme, I’d have to disagree. Riddler uses more of riddles and question based puzzles, while joker is more of a numbers, get straight to the point type of puzzle. Although they should’ve added more jokes, gags, and time based puzzles for joker. Kinda Like your always under pressure to solve it. But it’s still such a great puzzle. Got a free cake and phone out of it :)
The tape player was my favorite part of this whole puzzle. I really loved the incorporation of audio in this puzzle. Adds that extra oomph
The reason for this puzzle to be not extremely difficult but really satisfying to look at, is because the chains and the metal raw sound…(I guess)! Very entertaining Chris!!!!!!
One of the absolute coolest product placement/sponsorship/ad content videos out there. It not only was an insane puzzle adventure, but dang that was immersive. Made me want to support the product and try the next one myself.
Somehow, I get the feeling that Lockpicking Lawyer would get this open in two minutes.
that's honestly what I was thinking the whole time "Wow all these locks, we'd just be hearing 'oh look, a little click out of one, two is binding, 3 feels set...' " lol
As soon as I saw my brain went " this is the lock picking lawyer and today..."
He would have to take at least a few minutes on each of these locks as he would have to run through the options although he has tricks to do so quickly
He'll do it twice just to prove that its not a fluke
That was amazing! Great job to the team that put it together, even though it was really simple and basic.
WOW I really loved that special lock with set of keys.
Looked super detailed and was a cool way to distribute the puzzle pieces around!
I really enjoyed this one and can tell you did too! Awesome shout outs to you, your production crew, your spot on set designs, and the crafter to this wicked awesome puzzle!
I LOOOOVE that
Chris Ramsey the production value on your videos is INSANE. I ALWAYS love watching your videos because of how much detail you out into it.
Who needs rules and regulations, when you have a cake in a box?
He's definitely a risk taker eating unknown cake. 😅
I'm betting his team had the cake made at a bake shop and put in the puzzle box minutes before locking it and setting up for the video. I bet the cake was still Simi-warm too.
@@TheAzhrael666
The best way to eat a cake and if your theory is correct then it was a great addition to the video as a whole.
Thank you for the idea. 🙂
I know! The mom in me is screaming 'Don't eat that! You don't know where it came from!'
@@lauraproffitt7628 We know, it came from The Joker, which only makes things worse...
There's some nostalgia right there, a tape cassette and a retro tape player. Haven't seen them in a long time nor have used them in ages.
Odd... This is FAR more of The Riddler's style: The Joker uses simplified materials and gimmicks. He's a brilliant chemical engineer, after all. He makes all his toys out of basic materials.
And you don't see his good gags coming. Still, this is a pretty wicked idea!
Personally,y i would have just used bolt cutters...
And Arkham Asylum is quasi-famous for Taco Tuesday. The Joker has actually given up in the middle of escape attempts because he forgot which day it was and didn't want to miss Taco Tuesday.
Bolt cutters remove the point of puzzle.
@@therandomnessstrikes1435 explaining the joke kills the joke...
@@therandomnessstrikes1435 Isn't getting INTO the box the point?
@@Himax9 no it's a puzzle. The point is to solve it.

When you rewound that tape I instantly went back to Blockbuster days rewinding VHS's... So much nostalgia for me... Great job on a great puzzle...
THIS WAS SO FUN TO WATCH!! keep it up Chris, and also props to the makers of this piece wowow
Watching someone count fart noises on CZcams has just set a new benchmark in entertainment for me 🤣
This is why, by far, you are my favorite content creator. I’m not even gonna say CZcamsr bc if you make content anywhere I know it would be an absolute banger. Thank you for being you sir!!!
"Do we dare opening this box?" Clonk... so classic, but I was in stitches 😀
This cassette had me rolling. 😂 definitely something I haven’t outgrown. Growing up my brother and I would take my dads cassette and record over them. And yes it would be armpit fart noises and other crazy noises 😂😂😂
I have been waiting so long for another Chris puzzle video! Welcome back!🥰
Have been watching you do these puzzles for awhile now and you are definitely improving. Keep up the good work!

this is my favourite video by you so far and I love how the viewers get to join in at the end.

So glad your videos are clean enough for my 6yo daughter to get to watch them. She loves your puzzles videos and is in awe of the magic videos 🤗 We love your channel 🤘🏻
Remember when people used to think rewinding on your VHS would cause it to break, so they sold VHS rewinder machines and that's literally all they did?
Well, yes. We have hundreds of VHS tapes. Rewinding in a VCR CAN cause the tape to break eventually, as there's 1/2 dozen or more rods and heads in contact with the tape. A dedicated rewinder not all only frees up your VCR for other use, it doesn't have to open the tape cover at all, just the spindle, which is much less strain on the tape.
We used to have a bunch of them going at once in the VHS rental shop I worked in (yes I am OLD)
It did it a lot faster and I had one.
@@clairelaffar2859 you used to get fined by a now defunct rental store if you didn't rewind them.
True, although the first rewinders went so fast that eventually they would rip the tape out of the spindle. Lol
I like how simply real it looks. So practical.
What a great puzzle! Easily one of my all time favourites! When you Solved the cabinet I thought that was the end. I really really liked "trace the J", that was a genius puzzle and hats off to you for spotting the scratched J. At that point I was happy and really enjoyed the puzzle.
And THEN, the cake! 😂. Pure genius this whole puzzle, it just kept giving! Just pure wow. Quite possibly my favorite puzzle ever! ♥️
This reminds me of The Dark Knight's ARG. You'd have to solve puzzles with others online, get a location, send someone out there to retrieve the next piece of the puzzle. One of them included cellphones. People would get calls from the Joker, the mob, commissioner Gordon. It was a lot of fun until Heath passed. The game basically came to a grinding halt after that, with only a handful of events, mostly Harvey Dent focused instead of Joker focused.
That was fun but the Joker's voice fell a little short for me. It's less of a crazy and somehow sounded more of a Riddler to me
In all fairness, puzzles are usually more Riddler's forte than Joker's, I suspect either a collaboration or a frame-job!
@@Chaos42666 You can't change my mind on this one. Yes, the Riddler's forte is indeed puzzles and that's why he's the Riddler but the box was said to be from Joker, the person on the tapes laughs like Joker and the letter says Joker so it all points to Joker. I really love the design of the puzzle and I could really see the Joker actually doing this but the voice just ruins the illusion for me. I hear it and I think about Riddler when I should be thinking about Joker. The Joker I'm used to hearing has a bit of a deep voice and a little bit raspy, also his laugh is more sinister and freeing(if that makes sense) while the voice I heard was high pitch, the laugh was a bit high pitch too and more of a naughty laugh than a crazy and sinister laugh. It also sounded rehearsed like how the Riddler woud speak whenever he's about to give out his performance. I heard different voice actors from cartoons and seen actors in movies portray Joker and all of them, though they may all have their own version of Joker, seems to be following that kind of voice that I mentioned above that I said I was used to. It's like when you hear it you know it's joker. Unfortunately the person who voiced Joker in this tape didn't sound like that so I wasn't quite sure if it was indeed the Joker or the Riddler but that's just my opinion.
The joker voice made me think of pennywise not joker
Plus a box like this would be more up riddler's alley. Some people apparently think this is riddler posing as joker??? No. The Creator meant it to be joker, it's joker. Just- takes me out of it a little because it kind feels out of place. Love the video and Chris, just wish it was a riddler puzzle
@@superbersyt why? The Joker loves to play games like this...you mustn't have read much of his character
It was probably the best puzzle I've seen on your channel, I had so much fun watching it!

Im thinking this was all planned for the website promo so they knew the cake wasnt going to be in there very long.

this was the most satisfying puzzle i ever seen ! and you sir are a very very intelligent individual! also a fast thinker and decision maker! i enjoyed every second of this. love and respect man!
Absolutely amaizing way to advertize. Love this
Chris it would have been so dope if mark hamill actually did the voice for the joker in this puzzle. Awesome vid bro 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
If I may offer a suggestion: when you're peering into holes, etc., we can't see anything, and it's just confusing (especially the go-pro view... blurry close-ups of the box are not fun).
It might be worth investing in an endoscope/borehole camera. They're quite cheap, and plug into your phone. A little camera on a cable designed for small holes, would let us see what you are seeing. IMO that would be way more interesting than blurry wobbly shots.
Ur opinion is worthless
Very smart idea, heck I would like him to go full tech and get a flir one pro and look inside the box for thermal signatures, and really be a detective like it's a bomb

Congrats to both you,Chris, for solving it,and the designer for the making it so beautifully done!! Love the retro configuration, and the multiple layers, with all the twists and turns!
