The Eremite with Slickdraw is one of the most unique fusion rifles I've ever used in #destiny2 . It feels SO snappy and it's definitely go me eyeing other Slickdraw god roll weapons to see if I can make them work for me. I'm a believer. Are you?

Slickdraw!? I seriously can’t believe it’s actually good. AND OOPS, radiant is 25% in PvE so it’s actually a 134% total buff on solar! My poor PvP focused brain.
Are you going to make a video showing your fusion testing this season? I'm interested to see how the rangefinder nerf affected fusions, particularly the Epicurean since I have finally leveled it up and can put enhanced perks on it.

Riptide is really good especially for clean up kills. Try getting under pressure successful warm up it’s super satisfying getting multi kills
See this is an interesting take on it and one I considered - Slickdraw's 100 handling+ (accounting for stow speed) is genuinely a shot in the arm for any high impact fusion, and you bring up an excellent point re: spec'ing into range for AA benefits. It's just that with the AA cone penalty, this is going to feel genuinely loose and horrible for most people. For high impact masters this is a dream come true but for most the lack of "help" from the game is a dealbreaker.

The penalty isn’t as much as it says for using SD perk was just buffed like gut shot.

Slickdraw feels like it was made with all the slow, hard-hitting special archetypes in mind. I've seen people make great use of it on Mechabre, for example. The argument for it is that aggressive frame AA cones are already so small that a percentage decrease isn't really impacting you at all but the longest ranges. It may not be your pick if you're going for hip-fire trickshot snipes, sure, but 100 handling on heavy hitting specials just feels so good that you don't need to rely on aim assistance much anyway
Slick (ha) video as always, I love that you take the time to do the slow-mo, frame interpolation, and masking for showing off the damage numbers. That feature is what made me sub in the first place, everything else is gravy

Iota Draconis would catch me by surprise with the charge time more than any other high impact in the game and I never realized until watching this video that it is largely due to the low sound profile during charge. There's still so much depth to weapons in D2

Yeah! With this low of handling it's technically a 655% boost to my handling stat. LOL that's ridiculous.

Yeah! Snorri will hit a little deeper, but Eremite is going to FEEL a lot better if you like handling.

i am so excited for this fusion. i have a feeling it is going to be a workhorse in my builds. I am setting up the first one i crafted for back up dps and champ bursting for day 1 Crota. but after this weekend i will craft another for pvp.

Update: I got the pattern today and tried slickdraw, 80 kills later and 18 hate messages later I don't think I'm taking this off now 😂
I have one with heal clip+reservoir that ice been using in pve until I get enough to craft one, and it's been an absolute monster on my solar builds. It's become one of my new go-to solar weapons this season. Can't wait to get it crafted so I can try out golden tricorn and just delete enemies in high level content

Slick draw honestly makes sense since you have a high impact fusion, so its range and dmg is already there whereas handling isnt and you can choose all range to make up the detriment plus its a fusion so the whole body is the optimal target vs precision which helps out its target acquisition.

I already loved this weapons from it's aesthetics and it's perks, but now you've gotten me even more interested in crafting this before the sniper first. Who would have thought Slickdraw would be good for the first time since it came out??

If I could ask off the topic, would you ever consider doing a rank (or quick review) on all Trials weapons in the future? I'm sure you have other videos or reviews to do, but since you're a top ranked PvP player out there, I would love to hear and learn of what you'd find worth going for. There's a lot of weapons that I've never been able to decide if they're worth getting (since I'm bad at PvP anyways).
I love how power creep has come so far now that we can realistically use a x4 Honed Edge Izanagi shot as a direct comparison to a lot of weapons nowadays.
Remeber back in Opulence when the catalyst came out and everybody's jaw was on the floor from its damage output? Crazy.
That was the only reason anyone ran Menagerie at the hardest difficulty

When it comes to perk selection, I'm always looking for what this gun, with these stats, with these perks, can do best. I don't want the best perks in general, I want the experience that only this weapon can provide me. I appreciate the way you really dig into the stats and search for what a weapon really does well.
One question tho: why don't you bring up the Origin Trait much? That's a distinguishing characteristic of a weapon and it seems like it should always be taken into account.

Your video is great but i woud of liked to know enhanced traits vs standard. What barrel is best, what masterwork bonus is best. Put this in your vid its important for crafting videos.
I talked about this with a friend earlier, but at this point for me to consider crafting a weapon at this point it needs to be really special or do something unique/interesting.
Heal clip/reservoir burst is it for me on this. May end being the only weapon from this season I'll brother crafting.

Hey, havent seen anyone else mention this, but i figured its important to correct that Radiant is a 25% buff in PvE, so its actually even stronger than you think! it works out to a 134% overall buff which is just insane.

I have an iron grip, low impact reserves wizened rebuke, should I bother crafting this ?
Great video, but could I ask why not run Liquid Coils over Projection Fuse? That would make it 3-tap any level of Resilience at base with a difference of 0,967ms charge time to 1,007ms. That 40ms is hardly noticeable or am I missing something?
Because I usually hit 4 bolts, heck with this thing I'm usually hitting 5. Then there is the range issue, you want as much as possible for this to work, liquid takes away 10 range from me. On top of that, speed is everything to me. On some high impacts I even go charge time masterwork because that's how not worried I am about having to 3 bolt someone.
Maybe look into Stasis more on Elemntal Cap Fusions. Whisper of Hedrons. Huge boosts to stats such as Aim Assist and Stability when freezing a target. I do use it with my Stasis Warlock with Osmiomancy Gloves. Could be an option on Hunter and Titan. (Don't play the other classes much)
For sure. I think one of the best applications is on Burden of Guilt since you can get HIR in the 4th column with it!
@@Legoleflash I do have an Epicurean build that almost has 4 100 stats with using Hedrons. Though Osmiomancy wouldn't be in use it would be Ophidians. Still applicable.
If using stasis elecap enhanced, you can use full bore and still have 100 recoil direction
Oh yeah, should have said full bore for stasis ele cap, but didn’t want to scare people THAT bad with almost no stability 🤣

Yeaaaah, the precharge is still pretty long on this one, so it may not be for you. But I do really like the feel of it.

Lego, I have a question - do charge time masterworks affect damage anymore? I can't seem to find any reliable info on this. I know accelerated coils do still, but I'm still unsure about masterworks. D2foundry doesn't show a - % for it.
Charge time masterwork away! Go over it in the new Tier List video, but yes! It doesn't change it anymore. UI is still wrong though, and accelerated coils is still a no no.

SLICKDRAW! WTF I def believe you now when you say you crafted this 20 different ways lol. I usually hate long charge time fusions besides the Kings Fall one with backup plan/successful warmup. Once I craft this I will give it a go.
Haha I know! I'm in the same boat. You still have to do a ton of precharge, but man this one feel so different.

Just mentioning, this season the hunter strand decoy was changed to not affect reticle auto aim so its not because of the gun
I believe that's only for your teammates, not the opponents. It was bugging out for teammates so they changed it.
I never ran into a fusion rifle that I actually wanted, until now.
Don't forget that it, like the other Season 22 weapons look *really good* with certain Shaders.

Healclip + pugilist is a good complement to a bonk titan in PVE. ( mostly when you fuck up your throw :x )
I run a Royal Executioner using Envious and Resevoir (PvE main), should I get that roll on an Eremite, which one would be more effective?
Just depends on how big of a punch you want. I personally like the gigantic punch from Eremite. Totally replaces Royal Executioner for me.
